I finally watched it!
Unlike most reviews that focus on the story, the political agenda, or the actors, I'd like to focus on the soundtrack of this movie. It's my first time watching Wakanda and I can already tell that it's safe to say, there's going to be another Wakanda forever because we are now introduced to a new underwater civilization led by Namor and another important reveal by the end of the movie. Sitting 2 hours just to reach that conclusion was actually not that disappointing. I wasn't really hooked on the story but it was the music and the visualisation that made me stay.

Just as I got outside of the cinema, I ended up looking up for all the soundtracks in the movie and its title. Basically, in wakanda forever, there are 18 soundtracks with some composed by Ludwig Göransson. If I were being stereotypical, Swedish, Icelandic and Nordic composers have a unique signature of ambient sound. For this movie specifically, there were blends of culture that you can tell, it’s african beats. Some of the music was atmospheric that evokes different emotions when you listen to them. Since there is another empire led by Namor introduced into the movie, there’s also some Spanish songs and latin american inspired music. Among a few of them that really stands out was Con La Brisa by Foudeqush and Ludwig. It's really soothing and atmospheric and I suggest you listen to the 8D version of this song. Another song that captured my attention was “Anya Mmiri” by CKay feat. PinkPantheress. It's great music to listen to while you're doing something, just like what Shuri was doing. Another one that slaps was Interlude by Stormzy. Then Coming Back for you by Fireboy DML that is also imprinted in my memory. Though once again, the most beautiful of all was Con La Brisa, paired with the scene underwater, the music has all the elements that support it. It has a tropical chill vibe to it as well; it's also melodic even with some lyrics to it.I suppose with the budget of a typical marvel movie and compared many others that I watched, I have to say the music in this one saved the movie. You can see all the tracks here. They are also available on Marvel Soundcloud.
Here's the link to Con La Brisa 8D version if you're curious of it sounds. It's best if you also wear headphone while listening to this one.
I personally think that going to the theatre just to watch this wasn't that disappointing. I can appreciate 2 hours listening to some good music. When I went to watch this, the cinema was packed and during some funny scenes, people were laughing. I can say, that means, people enjoyed it and the scenes successfully made them react.
My friend who watched with me said that there are some missing plots here and there ,while all I can think about was the soundtrack. The plot, the tiny bits of elements that were present in the movie, though I noticed what they represent and such, I really could care less about it. Another thing is that, somehow the story is quite predictable. I mean, if there were next one, they could start with some sort of political conflict within the kingdom to choose the next leader, some type of wars involving the American and the United Nations, also Namor. In the end though, I can't really fully rate this movie because I am only seeing it through the soundtrack. However, if compared to other MCU, I would say, Wakanda Forever gets my 8 out of 10 for its soundtrack. I hope the next one would be as good as this one.
