Hola hive, hoy les vengo a hablar sobre una película que sinceramente no conocía pero que termine viéndola por recomendación de mi hermano, y realmente me parece que tiene aspectos destacables para mencionar así que por esta razón es que hoy les vengo a hablar I Care a lot
I Care A Lot es una película lanzada en el 2020, dirigida por J. Blakeson y protagonizada por Rosamund Pike, Peter Dinklage y Eiza González. Sinceramente no sabría en qué género encasillar esta película y es que siento que tiene todo un poco. Esta película Marla Grayson, quien busca la manera de hacerse tutora de personas mayores para después despojarlas de sus bienes y así beneficiarse de esta manera, pero todo es muy perfecto para ser verdad, así que se va a encontrar con alguien que le hará la vida imposible. Ya habiendo dado un poco de contexto ahora si comencemos!
Primero siempre me gusta empezar hablando de lo que más me encanto de la película y en este caso sin duda es la trama, desde el primero momento que la historia está sentando las bases nos damos cuentas que es súper interesante ver cómo opera Marla Grayson, y también nos da curiosidad el como se va a ir desenvolviendo la situación, así que sin duda desde el principio ya es suficiente para engancharnos
También quiero destacar la actuación de Rosamund Pike, es increíble lo perfecto que le queda este personaje a esta actriz, y obviamente todos hacen un gran trabajo, pero sin duda me atrevería a decir que parte de la esencia del persona es gracias a Rosamund Pike y claramente esto es muy importante ya que es la protagonista, así que sin duda un punto positivo ahi.
Algo que también me sorprendió bastante de esta película es que realmente se nos hace difícil escoger un bando, ya que ninguno es realmente bueno y todos los que hacen es buscar un beneficio propio y ya, unos son malos y los otros son peores, así que en ningún momento logramos tomar una postura porque podríamos interpretar que no hay villanos ni héroes y se convierte en un juego de poder bastante entretenido que nos deja a la expectativas de quien se saldrá con la suya
Complementando lo que acabe de mencionar también me parece pertinente hablar sobre el final y es que al terminar la película no hay ganadores ni perdedores, por lo que siento que le dan un giro interesante a la trama, que puede parecer un poco “aburrido” pero que siento que es la forma más realista en la que se cerraría el arco de ambos personajes.
I care a lot no es una película corta, tiene una duración de aproximadamente dos horas, pero como nos mantienen en constante movimiento y siempre está sucediendo algo, sinceramente las dos horas se pasan en un abrir y cerrar de ojos, así que si no eres muy fan de las películas lentas pues te recomiendo I care a lot, porque sinceramente es todo lo contrario.
En conclusión me parece una gran película, no es muy compleja pero logra su objetivo principal que es entretenernos, pero también nos hace cuestionarnos de que es capaz el ser humano para obtener dinero y poder. Antes de empezar a ver esta película tenía cero expectativas y es que como no la conocía no le tenia mucha fe, pero realmente me sorprendió, así que si derrepente no tienes nada que ver, tal vez deberías echarle un vistazo a I Care A Lot, totalmente recomendada!

Hi hive, today I'm here to talk about a movie that I honestly didn't know about but I ended up watching it on my brother's recommendation, and I really think it has remarkable aspects to mention so for this reason I'm here to talk about I Care A Lot.
I Care A Lot is a movie released in 2020, directed by J. Blakeson and starring Rosamund Pike, Peter Dinklage and Eiza Gonzalez. I honestly wouldn't know what genre to pigeonhole this movie into and I feel like it has a little bit of everything. This movie is about Marla Grayson, who is looking for a way to become a guardian of elderly people and then strip them of their property and thus benefit in this way, but everything is too perfect to be true, so she is going to meet someone who will make her life impossible. Having given a little context, now let's get started!
First I always like to start talking about what I love most about the film and in this case it is certainly the plot, from the first moment that the story is laying the groundwork we realize that it is super interesting to see how Marla Grayson operates, and also makes us curious about how the situation will be developing, so no doubt from the beginning it is enough to hook us.
I also want to highlight the performance of Rosamund Pike, it is incredible how perfect this character fits this actress, and obviously everyone does a great job, but I would certainly dare to say that part of the essence of the person is thanks to Rosamund Pike and clearly this is very important as it is the protagonist, so certainly a positive point there.
Something that also surprised me a lot about this movie is that it really makes it difficult to choose a side, since none is really good and all they do is to seek their own benefit and that's it, some are bad and others are worse, so at no time we managed to take a position because we could interpret that there are no villains or heroes and becomes a quite entertaining power game that leaves us to the expectations of who will get away with it.
Complementing what I just mentioned, I also think it is pertinent to talk about the ending and that is that at the end of the film there are no winners or losers, so I feel that they give an interesting twist to the plot, which may seem a bit "boring" but I feel it is the most realistic way in which the arc of both characters would be closed.
I care a lot is not a short film, it has a duration of approximately two hours, but as we are kept in constant movement and something is always happening, honestly the two hours pass in the blink of an eye, so if you are not a fan of slow movies I recommend I care a lot, because honestly it is quite the opposite.
In conclusion I think it is a great movie, it is not very complex but it achieves its main goal which is to entertain us, but it also makes us question what human beings are capable of to get money and power. Before I started watching this movie I had zero expectations and since I didn't know it I didn't have much faith in it, but it really surprised me, so if you suddenly have nothing to watch, maybe you should take a look at I Care A Lot, totally recommended!
