The above are the general cast of Shark Tank. The Rapport between the sharks is what makes the show entertaining. Also, Shark tank also brings in guest investors such a Ashton Kutcher, Chris Saca, Charles Barkely.
Shark Tank has a total of 11 seasons, 11 seasons of great investing and countless business successes. Its available on Netflix to watch from season 7.
My time spend on watching Shark Tank, I label it as Productive, because the show is so educational, in terms of business. The Entrepreneurs come with idea's never seen or heard before and pitch to the sharks.
The Pitch plays a vital vital role in getting the right investor to make a deal. Sometime's the business is not dong so well, but the pitch was filled with passion and enthusiasm, the entrepreneurs end up getting a deal and also a mentor in a Shark.
I learned the difference between a Successful pitch and a failed pitch. The Sharks are true businessmen with character, they give such valuable feedback to those with whom they don't make a deal.
The Feedback is also a learning point for me as viewer who is aspiring to be an Entrepreneur in the future.
Another aspect of the show is, after the pitch, there is a back and forth of Q&A between the Sharks and the Entrepreneurs.
The Q&A is highly educational, the sharks ask all the right questions and entrepreneur needs to give a solid answer. It teaches you a lot. They even ask questions that put pressure on the entrepreneurs, to get the truth out.
Shark Tank has also taught me, How to value businesses? What is the right valuation for a business having certain amount of revenue? What channel of distribution is best for what kind of business?
I have also, listed a ton of ideas, which I can possibly bring to fruition in my hometown and country. Through franchisee's or a better version.
I suggest for all of you, who aspire to be businessmen/businesswoman, entrepreneurs, investors, venture capitalist etc, watch Shark Tank. It can prove to be a great source of knowledge.
Shark Tank for is like an Entertaining Masters in Entrepreneurship for me, and free of cost.
I want to leave you all with a glimpse of Shark Tank.
Below is a example of a Great Deal Stealing Pitch.
One of My favorite failed pitch- Teapressa . As a tea lover I really wanted this to get an investment. Her product made a good impression, but as a visionary for the company, the entrepreneur didn't do a great job. In the end,she got valuable advice from the sharks, I guess it wasn't all that bad.
My Moto for the coming weeks is Shark Tank and Chill.
Hope you all have a productive, blessed and a wonderful week.
Cheers!
