Hola a todos espero que se encuentren muy bien🧡 Hoy vengo con la reseña de una película de género bélico y romance, interpretada por Amanda Stenberg dándole vida al papel de Leyna una chica de 16 años de madre alemana y padre africano. La historia se centra en la época de la segunda guerra mundial donde ella y su madre junto con su hermano tratan de sobrevivir pasando desapercibidos, excepto por Leyna ya que su tez morena es una bazofia para los alemanes y ella tiene que estar siempre alerta de no llamar la atención.
Al ser considerada ''negra'' es excluida de su nueva escuela y su hermano siendo este alemán teniendo que cumplir con las normas de la época como alistarse con los demás chicos de su edad y prepararse para la guerra.
Su madre siempre está al pendiente de ella pero no podrá evitar que un alemán se fije en su hija. Y no podría ser peor porque es hijo del jefe que comanda y da las órdenes a todos.
Un día ella sale de su casa y presencia como asesinan a un joven judío y su madre hace todo lo posible por conseguir los papeles de identificación como alemana para que no tenga problemas.
El chico sigue observando de vez en cuando a Leyna hasta que se le acerca muy intrigado y le pregunta su nombre, cosa que ella no contesta y se va a su casa.
El rechazo por los alemanes hacía leyna es muy obvio y no dudan en acercarse y decirle que ella es un desecho humano. El chico llamado Lutz está muy interesado en ella, tanto que rompe todas las reglas acercándose de cualquier manera.
Su madre le advierte que si se junta con el, primero lo matan a él y luego van a ir a por ellas. Pero ya es tarde porque Leyna también se empieza a interesar por Lutz.
Ellos se miran por las calles y se esconden en rincones dónde nadie los pueda ver para darse muestras de cariño. Hasta que el la invita a su casa ya que su padre no estaba y nadie los vería.
Allí en la casa de Lutz el le muestra una cantante afroamericana que escucha a escondidas cuando su padre no está cerca, ambos se ponen a bailar y terminan teniendo relaciones sexuales.
Ambos salen muy tarde de la casa y Lutz casi es atrapado con Leyna por unos guardias por suerte logran esconderse y el la lleva hasta su casa.
Al día siguiente Leyna se entera de que a Lutz lo han mandado a alistarse. Así que ella decide dejar a su hermano con su tía e ir por el amor de su vida. Pero lo que encuentra es mucho peor de lo que esperaba, a las mujeres las tienen como exclavas para los militares, no pueden comer nada a menos que ellos se lo permitan, tienen que dormir todas juntas en un mini cuarto donde no entra ni la luz y es vigilado constantemente. Ella está tratando de sobrevivir, hasta que una compañera de la cual se vuelve amiga le dice que tiene un bulto en su barriga, si, Leyna está embarazada en plena podredumbre.
Ahora solo piensa en porque diablos lo busco si el es uno más de ellos, pero aún así tiene la esperanza de encontrarlo.
Lutz mira por casualidad dónde tienen a todas las mujeres esclavas y ve a Leyna, no puede esperar demasiado para acercarse y sin que nadie se de cuenta apartarla del lugar siendo muy cauteloso.
Leyna está herida tanto física como emocionalmente, tiene que usar un vendaje debajo de su uniforme para esconder su embarazo o si no la matarían. Ambos hablan y discuten que porque ella está ahí.
Lutz termina abrazándola y diciendo que no pensaba que las cosas iban a ser así, que él es diferente no es un asesino. El la abraza y se da cuenta de que está embarazada lo cual le causa mucha emoción.
Ahora ambos planean huir juntos pero la cosa es ¿Cómo? Si está su padre de por medio que jamás dejaría que él tuviera una relación y mucho menos un hijo con ella.
Bueno, esta película no tiene un final feliz pero me gustó la química de ambos actores. Obviamente no iba a terminar bien pero yo tenía esperanza 😂
Amo las historias de romance bélico, me encantan como al principio parece que se odian y luego no pueden vivir el uno sin el otro.
Pero la realidad es que en una guerra todo es incierto. Nunca se sabe que va a pasar después por eso yo me disfrute la primera hora jaja.

One day she leaves her house and witnesses a young Jewish boy being murdered and her mother does everything she can to get her identification papers as a German so that she won't get into trouble.
The boy keeps watching Leyna from time to time until he approaches her very intrigued and asks her name, which she does not answer and goes home.
The rejection by the Germans towards Leyna is very obvious and they don't hesitate to approach her and tell her that she is a human waste. The boy named Lutz is very interested in her, so much so that he breaks all the rules by approaching her anyway.
Her mother warns her that if she hangs out with him, they'll kill him first and then they'll go after them. But it's too late because Leyna also starts to get interested in Lutz.
They look at each other in the streets and hide in corners where no one can see them to show their affection. Until he invites her to his house because her father is not there and no one will see them.
There at Lutz's house he shows her an African-American singer that he eavesdrops on when her father is not around, they start dancing and end up having sex.

The next day Leyna learns that Lutz has been sent to enlist. So she decides to leave her brother with her aunt and go for the love of her life. But what she finds is much worse than she expected, the women are kept as slaves for the military, they can't eat anything unless they are allowed to, they have to sleep all together in a mini room where not even the light gets in and is constantly watched. She is trying to survive, until a classmate she befriends tells her that she has a lump in her belly, yes, Leyna is pregnant in the middle of the rot.
Now all she can think about is why the hell did she look for him if he is one of them, but she still hopes to find him.
Lutz happens to look where they keep all the slave women and sees Leyna, he can't wait too long to get closer and without anyone noticing, he moves her away from the place being very cautious.
Leyna is hurt both physically and emotionally, she has to wear a bandage under her uniform to hide her pregnancy or else they would kill her. They both talk and discuss why she is there.
Lutz ends up hugging her and saying that he didn't think things were going to be like this, that he is different he is not a killer. He hugs her and realizes she is pregnant which causes him a lot of excitement.
Now they both plan to run away together but the thing is how? If there is her father in the middle who would never let him have a relationship let alone a child with her.
Well, this movie doesn't have a happy ending but I liked the chemistry of both actors. Obviously it wasn't going to end well but I was hopeful 😂.
I love war romance stories, I love how at first they seem to hate each other and then they can't live without each other.
But the reality is that in a war everything is uncertain. You never know what is going to happen next so I enjoyed the first hour haha.
