Hola amigos de la comunidad de Movies & Tv, espero que se encuentren bien el día de hoy. Ayer estuve revisando algunas series coreanas y me encontré con una que llamo mi atención. ¿Que pasaría si producto de una gran inteligencia humana se creara una red social asociada con la inteligencia artificial donde las personas pudieran conocerse y salir en una cita si así lo desean? De esto se trata la serie surcoreana Somebody, una combinación de thriller y misterio en dónde nadie está seguro detrás de una simple conexión de una pantalla del móvil.
Hello friends of the Movies & Tv community, I hope you're feeling well today. Yesterday I was reviewing some Korean series and I found one that caught my attention. What would happen if a product of a great human intelligence would create a social network associated with artificial intelligence where people could meet and go on a date if they want? This is what the South Korean series Somebody is all about, a combination of thriller and mystery where no one is safe behind a simple cell phone screen connection.
Esta serie Surcoreana llamada Somebody fue estrenada en Netflix en el año 2022, creo que no ha tenido la suficiente atención y muchas personas no conocen de esta historia llena de intriga y tensión. Dirigida por Jung Ji-woo la trama nos cuenta cómo fue desarrollada una app de citas llamada Somebody, está aplicación destaca por haber sido desarrollada por Kim Sum una joven con una gran inteligencia que le permite tener ideas increíbles con respecto a la tecnología y que sus capacidades además de tener Asperger, es una mujer muy capaz de utilizar su inteligencia para hacer grandes estrategias.
This South Korean series called Somebody was released on Netflix in 2022, I think it has not had enough attention and many people do not know about this story full of intrigue and tension. Directed by Jung Ji-woo the plot tells us how a dating app called Somebody was developed, this application stands out for having been developed by Kim Sum a young woman with a great intelligence that allows her to have incredible ideas regarding technology and that her capabilities besides having Asperger's, she is a woman very capable of using her intelligence to make great strategies.
Kim Sun siendo rechazada desde joven por tener Asperger en una exposición conoce a una mujer que muestra interés en su proyecto e inteligencia, tanto que se convierten en socias y dirigen la aplicación de citas Somebody la cual ha sido muy bien recibida por las personas que no dudan en descargarla para ver si así encuentran el amor o una amistad a través de ella. Kim Sun no está del todo sola en el mundo que la rodea, tiene dos mejores amigas: Ki Eun y Mok Won, quienes siempre están presentes para enseñarle las cosas que ella no comprende por su condición.
Kim Sun being rejected since she was young for having Asperger's at an exhibition she meets a woman who shows interest in her project and intelligence, so much so that they become partners and run the dating app Somebody which has been very well received by people who do not hesitate to download it to see if they find love or a friendship through it. Kim Sun is not all alone in the world around her, she has two best friends: Ki Eun and Mok Won, who are always there to teach her the things she doesn't understand because of her condition.
Todo parece ir de maravilla con la aplicación Somebody, hasta que ocurren una serie de asesinatos de manera cruel y drásticos que ponen en alerta a la empresa y a Kim Sun y sus amigas, sobre todo una de ellas que trabaja para la policía y fue víctima de esta misma aplicación de citas donde conoció a un hombre casi perfecto pero que terminó dejándola en medio de su cita de una forma bastante horrible. Este hombre busca a sus víctimas y cuando se cansa de ellas simplemente las deja a un lado o termina con sus vidas, no tiene ningún tipo de remordimiento o culpa al cometer estos crímenes.
Everything seems to be going great with the Somebody app, until a series of murders occur in a cruel and drastic way that put the company and Kim Sun and her friends on alert, especially one of them who works for the police and was a victim of this same dating app where she met a man who was almost perfect but ended up leaving her in the middle of their date in a rather horrible way. This man seeks out his victims and when he gets tired of them he simply tosses them aside or ends their lives, he has no remorse or guilt in committing these crimes.
Las escenas están calculadas para generar angustia y sufrimiento, más allá de las formas en las que se revelan los asesinatos, es la manera en la que se graban las escenas y los buenos actores que hacen un gran trabajo para que la serie muestre la realidad de utilizar apps para conocer personas sobre todo si son cuentas que solo usan una imagen de perfil que puede ser creada o buscada por internet. Todo tiene un toque de Corea dentro de el mundo perfecto y ordenado de Kim Sun y luego el contraste con la realidad de este hombre que parece encantador pero que se llena con el sufrimiento de otros.
The scenes are calculated to generate anguish and suffering, beyond the ways in which the murders are revealed, it is the way the scenes are filmed and the good actors who do a great job for the series to show the reality of using apps to meet people especially if they are accounts that only use a profile picture that can be created or searched for online. Everything has a touch of Korea within the perfect and orderly world of Kim Sun and then the contrast with the reality of this man who seems charming but is filled with the suffering of others.
Me parece increíble que no supiera de esta serie mucho antes de terminarla completa en un día, es sumamente gráfica e incomoda, te puede hacer sentir mucho miedo y a la vez rabia al ver cómo se cometían muchas injusticias y el victimario siempre salía ileso. Las actuaciones son bastante buenas, sobre todo la de la protagonista Kim Sun y sus dos mejores amigas, juntas se unen para poder descifrar que hay detrás de la persona que usa la aplicación para fines muy morbosos. El actor que interpreta al hombre misterioso Seong Yun-oh (Kim Young-kwang) hace el papel de tal manera en la que te crees realmente que es un ser oscuro con una mentalidad de psicópata, que no teme en ningún momento poder cometer más crímenes.
It seems incredible to me that I didn't know about this series long before finishing it all in one day, it is extremely graphic and uncomfortable, it can make you feel very scared and at the same time angry to see how many injustices were committed and the victimizer always came out unscathed. The performances are quite good, especially that of the protagonist Kim Sun and her two best friends, together they unite to decipher what is behind the person who uses the application for very morbid purposes. The actor who plays the mystery man Seong Yun-oh (Kim Young-kwang) plays the role in such a way that you really believe he is a dark being with a psychopath's mentality, who is never afraid of committing more crimes.
Es una serie corta de 8 episodios, cada uno te va adentrando al mundo de las aplicaciones de citas, Somebody tiene mucha similitud a las que existen en la vida real, puedes conectar con personas cercanas y chatear mientras esperas poder crear un vínculo sin saber que ser humano hay detrás de cada pantalla. Una de las cosas que más me parecieron increíbles de la serie es que está app de citas que creó Kim Sun está conectada con la inteligencia artificial, puedes escribir textos y luego borrarlos si no deseas enviar ciertos mensajes, pero la aplicación tiene la capacidad de guardar cada mensaje aún si no los envías.
It is a short series of 8 episodes, each one takes you into the world of dating apps, Somebody has a lot of similarity to those that exist in real life, you can connect with people close to you and chat while waiting to create a bond without knowing what human being is behind each screen. One of the things I found most amazing about the series is that this dating app created by Kim Sun is connected to artificial intelligence, you can write texts and then delete them if you don't want to send certain messages, but the app has the ability to save every message even if you don't send them.
En Letterboxd ví a muchas personas quejarse por como se fue desarrollando la historia, para mí que no soy de ver mucho estos géneros en series o películas me pareció una serie muy realista, llena de crueldad y del morbo que existe en el mundo de la tecnología. Además de que los actores hacen que se sienta mucho más pesado el tema de las muertes que van ocurriendo y un vínculo amoroso que se crea a través de la app Somebody y que casi me deja sin pestañas por el temor a que las cosas terminarán súper mal. Sin embargo me gustó el final, fue dramático pero fue mejor que el que yo me imaginaba. Así que si les gustan este tipo de historias sobre tecnología y misterio pueden buscar la serie que se encuentra en Netflix como Somebody. 👨🏻💻😨
In Letterboxd I saw many people complaining about how the story was developed, for me that I am not much to see these genres in series or movies I found a very realistic series, full of cruelty and morbid that exists in the world of technology. Besides that the actors make it feel much heavier the theme of the deaths that are occurring and a love bond that is created through the app Somebody and that almost left me without eyelashes for fear that things will end super bad. I liked the ending though, it was dramatic but it was better than I imagined. So if you like this kind of stories about technology and mystery you can look for the series found on Netflix like Somebody. 👨🏻💻😨
