Sometimes I don't know what to say about crazy things, but if there is one thing that I dread the most, it's the positions of seeing something that doesn't completely satisfy what I want in my imagination. Do you think I'm being too direct at the beginning of this review? Well, let me give a little perspective on my journey, and why I watched this movie.
En ocasiones no sé qué decir sobre las locuras, pero si existe cosa que me cause mayor pavor son las posiciones de ver algo que no satisfaga por completo lo que deseo en mi imaginación. ¿Te parece que estoy siendo muy directo al comenzar esta review? Bueno, permíteme dar un poco de perspectivas sobre mi camino, y en razón de los motivos por los que vi esta película.
The point is that I study Urbanism, and France is one of the most important places to study, this is not only because of its infrastructure, the tourist possibilities that each of its cities has, or the historical ties it has with many nations; but rather, because of the stagnation of that country in its economy, the model and the perceptions that are glimpsed in a France that can be noted as weak among the developed nations.

Now, having marked the points that caused my interest in the film, you can imagine that when I started watching it, none of these aspects were touched, the nuances were oriented to other issues that did not seem to me very consistent with what the trailer gave me to understand; even so, I was interested in the context of the situation that caused the chaos in one of the developed nations of Europe, remembering that it is obviously only fiction.
Ahora bien, ya marcado los puntos que ocasionaron mi interés en la película, se pueden ustedes imaginar que cuando comencé a verla no se tocaba ninguno de estos aspectos, los matices estaban orientados en otras cuestiones que no me parecían muy cónsonos con lo que me dio a entender el tráiler; aun así, sentí interés por el contexto de la situación que originó aquel caos en una de las naciones desarrolladas de Europa, recordando claro que solamente se trata de ficción evidentemente.
Well, the thing is that as the film progressed I noticed a lack of argumentation in the facts, I felt that there was a void and this marked a before and after my views on the plot, why? At this point I had to understand that what I expected was not what I imagined, this film is more oriented to a critique of Status Quo, attractive? Yes, but the criteria to break this status is very flimsy, what do I mean? Simple, I thought they would get to the Eiffel Tower or indeed the Elysée Palace.
Pues, la cuestión es que a medida que avanzaba la película noté una falta de argumentación en los hechos, sentía que existía un vacío y esto marcó un antes y un después de mis puntos de vista sobre la trama, ¿por qué? En este punto debía entender que lo que esperaba no era lo que me imaginaba, esta película está más orientada a una crítica de Status Quo, ¿atractivo? Sí, pero el criterio para romper este estatus es muy endeble, ¿a qué me refiero? Simple, pensé que llegarían a la torre Eiffel o en efecto al Palacio del Elíseo.
Although in the film there is a glimpse of a confrontation between police forces and migrants in a suburb called Atenea, something was missing, and that was more real use of force by both sides, this would have made the plot more realistic as well as the argumentation of the film in my opinion.

Perhaps the breakdown of the institutions of power and a more real confrontation with the forces of power of the French state would have been a nice visualization in the plot, everything was just isolated in a suburb where the laws are those of the strongest. A scenario of debacle, of outlaw state, of failed state, could have given a greater nuance to the film as such, that was what I wanted in perspective.
Quizás el quebrantamiento de las instituciones de poder y un enfrentamiento más real con las fuerzas de poder del estado francés hubieran sido una visualización agradable en la trama, todo estuvo únicamente aislado en un suburbio donde las leyes son las del más fuerte. Un escenario de debacle, de estado forajido, y fallido, pudieron haber dado un mayor matiz a la película como tal, eso era lo que en perspectivas deseaba.
I find myself between two positions: what I liked and what I found insufficient within it. Its beginning leaves you visualizing that something like this could happen in reality, but those scenes are blurred little by little by some that become a little fantastic in favor of the protagonists.

It seems that Karim, played by the actor Sami Slimane, would be ready for anything, but that everything is very predictable, very visible, his personality is at the same time frightening, which is what is reproached in developed nations. The film should be seen in several aspects: an anti-system critique, one that pours segregation, that conditions the way in which the migratory conditions are breaking down, the possible fall of justice in the French state, terrorism, and at the same time the passivity of the institutions.
Parece que Karim, papel efectuado por el actor Sami Slimane, estaría dispuesto a todo, pero es que ese todo resulto muy predecible, muy visible a modo de ver, su personalidad al mismo tiempo es pavorosa, es lo que se reprocha en las naciones desarrolladas. La película debe verse en varias cuestiones: una crítica antisistema, una que vierte segregación, que condiciona la forma en que se van descomponiendo las condiciones migratorias, la caída posible de la justicia en el estado francés, el terrorismo, y a la misma vez la pasividad de las instituciones.

This part is important, this is an aspect that I can take into account for my career: Planning for people and in favorable conditions that allow them to integrate properly into the culture of that locality, that is a fundamental criterion.

Esta parte, es importante, este es un aspecto que puedo tomar en cuenta para mi carrera: Planificar para las personas y en condiciones favorables que le permitan integrarse de manera adecuada a la cultura de esa localidad, eso es un criterio fundamental.
All the people seem to have been put on the margins of the urban dynamics and isolated in this place, which also has a dark tone for living, what do I mean? Living conditions, equity and integration are some aspects that can be taken as an analysis of the film when planning a city.

The movie has great adaptations, there is a scene that reminded me of the use of fireworks in various protests around the world, that was seen as if they wanted to stigmatize him, but the reality is that it was not. Who does the right or wrong thing? Laws exist for a reason or missive in such a way.

At this point I can only say that my positions are divided and the reason is that I liked the setting, some contexts, the way the film handled the fact of violence and unrest in the suburb, but the scenes due to the lack of arguments in the whole context make me have a divided visualization.

The end of the story also left a sour taste in my mouth, it was predictable, but the criteria are very marked as I see it. Would I recommend this film? I would, but I would be honest on one issue: it all blurs together very quickly.
