Other than the Pianist, I have found Brody to be disappointing in everything that he is in, and he certainly isn't intimidating. I love that last photo you chose because it just looks so out of place.

I probably wouldn't have watched this anyway specifically because of Adrien Brody's involvement, but you saved me some time if i were to randomly encounter it.
