Hello everyone, how are you? I hope you're all well. I recently finished a Korean drama called "Bitch X Rich 2," starring Yeri from Red Velvet. This drama isn't her acting debut, but it's quite entertaining. Of course, this drama is a continuation of Season 1.
This Season 2 drama is quite plausible compared to Season 1. However, due to its short running time and limited number of episodes, some things don't seem natural. But, in retrospect, this drama isn't a daily drama, so if some things don't make sense, that's okay.
This drama tells the story of elite high school students. There's competition and ambition to be number one. Not to mention, there are a number of students who get in on scholarships. However, one thing I want to highlight is bullying in schools. Bullying is unavoidable.
In fact, many universities in South Korea currently reject students involved in bullying at school. Oh yes, one more thing: some bullying in schools seems to be commonplace. In this drama, there's a gang called the Diamond 6, made up of kids who donate the most money to the school.
The kids who join this gang are treated fairly. In fact, the school itself has a special room and special treatment for these members. In this drama, Hye In, played by Lee Eun Saem, and Baek Jena, played by Red Velvet's Yeri, join this group. How does Hye In join the gang?
Of course, with the help of Baek Jena. Baek Jena is considered the school princess. Her father is wealthy and the school's number one donor. Baek Jena even uses many luxurious facilities. Hye In exchange for something from Baek Jena, Baek Jena agrees to help her. Do the two become friends?
In this drama, Baek Jena is known for having no friends. Hye In is her only friend. Even when she's at her lowest, Hye In accompanies her. Yes, during the episode, Baek Jena is accused of using drugs. This is a popularity battle between the kids of a conglomerate at school.
Another surprising story features Kim Min Kyu's role as Cha Jin Wook. His character adds a new dimension to this drama. Cha Jin Wook is the illegitimate son of a conglomerate. He was exiled abroad until adulthood. He returns to Korea to be engaged to Baek Jena. This wasn't Cha Jin Wook's wish, but his father's.
What about the ending? This drama has an unexpected ending. Baek Jena becomes the owner of her father's company. In this drama, Baek Jena is portrayed as calm and intelligent. However, she also suffers from past wounds, as her father chose to live with his second wife rather than Baek Jena's mother.
Baek Jena's methods for taking over the company are quite clever, including pressuring her stepmother. Then, at the end of the story, Cha Jin Wook chooses to reveal his own cards. Cha Jin Wook is the man behind Black Dog, the one who spread rumors about the school, including rumors of student deaths and bullying at the school.
Who is the antagonist in this drama? It's none other than Min Yul Hee, the real enemy. Min Yul Hee is the daughter of the owner of the largest media outlet in South Korea. Of course, Min Yul Hee doesn't want to lose to Baek Jena. On the other hand, there is a grudge between Min Yul Hee and Baek Jena. Because Baek Jena exposed Woo Jin's affair with Hae In. Maybe that's all I can tell you. What do you think? You need to watch this drama yourself. See you again.
