A warm greeting to all the members of #MoviesAndTVShows. Today I want to tell you about a movie that was recommended to me this year and for reasons I don't remember I didn't get to see it LOL. The film is called: Zombies Party. As usual, I give notice that my post only contains my opinion about the movie without giving spoilers, so you can read at ease since:

  You can also get this film under the name Shaun of the Dead and well, it was released in 2004, it has a great selected cast of which I will tell you little by little and another detail that you should take into account is that it belongs to the English Cinema. Its director is none other than Edgar Wright, but if you are someone like me who has no idea who this man is, I'll tell you that he was the one who made these movies popular: Ant-Man (2015), The Adventures of Tintin: Secret of the Unicorn (2011) and Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2010).

  This is a comedy-based film with subtle touches of horror and some romance. What would a good comedy film be without a touch of romance? And these two genres always go well together and if you know how to do what you do as a director, add horror and you make a masterpiece.

  I had many surprises when I saw it, I didn't know what to expect, I saw it without expectations and tried a different type of cinema than what I'm used to, which is the American or Latin style. Above all, when I saw each actor that appeared as a supporting character, I recognized them from other films that I have liked a lot and that have been a success in these parts of the world.

  From the main characters that I don't remember exactly when I had seen them but I'm sure I had, I just have to refresh my memory LOL, to award-winning actors like the legend of Bill Nighy whose performance for me was memorable to see him play one of the vampire overlords in the Underworld Saga or to see one of my favorite hobbits: Martin Freeman and the sexy Peter Serafinowicz with that clear-eyed look that makes anyone fall in love.

  Of course, the movie has a plot about the living dead, but in a very jocular and funny way, that's why it's called Zombies Party, and the film is focused on something different. I'm going to explain a little bit without telling you so much, imagine you are having an existential crisis, questioning how you live your life on a personal/love level and suddenly you come across a zombie. Would it get you out of the loop? What would you do?

  This is the point of view that the director Wright shows us with ironic but funny comedy, very different from what you usually see in American cinema. He has a spectacular use of the camera and makeup to his characters turn into zombies, keeping everything very simple, simple, but very stylish and different from what you've seen in any living dead movie. It was kept, from my point of view very classic in all aspects and that for me makes it special.

𝙼𝚢 𝙾𝚙𝚒𝚗𝚒𝚘𝚗 𝚊𝚋𝚘𝚞𝚝 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝙼𝚘𝚟𝚒𝚎

  I already told you more or less what I think of the film, but in this part, I want to talk about what I liked the most. I'll be honest, what I enjoyed the most was the unexpected laughter, I laughed so much with so many good scenes that I almost cried, I mean, it surprised me every time and that's something difficult to achieve with me because I'm usually very logical and I already imagine what's coming, but what do you think? Here you don't know what's coming next and for me, that's a very important plus that makes it very original.

  I laughed so hard! You have no idea, it put me in a great mood and I went to bed happy remembering the funniest scenes of the movie. The performances were excellent, I have no complaints whatsoever, not even for the actors who appeared for seconds as zombies. They all did great.

  Un cordial saludo a todos los integrantes de #MoviesAndTVShows. El día de hoy quiero contarles de una película que me recomendaron este año y que por razones que no recuerdo simplemente no la llegué a ver jajaja. El film tiene por nombre: Zombies Party. Como es costumbre, doy aviso de que mi publicación sólo contiene mi opinión sobre la película sin dar spoiler, así que puedes leer tranquilo ya que:

  Este film también puedes conseguirlo con el nombre Shaun of the Dead y bueno, fue estrenada en el año 2004, cuenta con un elenco estupendamente seleccionado del cual les iré contando poco a poco y otro detalle que deben tener en cuenta es que pertenece al Cine Inglés. Su director es nada más y nada menos que Edgar Wright, pero si eres alguien como yo que no tiene idea de quién es ese hombre pues te cuento que fue el que hizo estas películas populares: Ant-Man: El hombre hormiga (2015), Las aventuras de Tintín - El secreto del Unicornio (2011) y Scott Pilgrim vs. los ex de la chica de sus sueños (2010).

  Este es una película basada en comedia más que todo con toques sutiles de terror y algo de romance. ¿Qué sería de una buena película de comedia sin el toque de romance? Y es que estos dos géneros siempre van bien de la mano y sabiendo hacer lo que se hace como director, le agregas el terror y haces una obra maestra.

  Yo me llevé muchas sorpresas cuando la vi, la verdad no sabía qué esperar, la vi sin tener expectativas y probar un tipo de cine diferente al que estoy acostumbrada que es el estilo americano o latino. Sobre todo, al ver cada actor que salía como personaje secundario, y reconocerlos de otras películas que me han gustado mucho y que obviamente han sido un éxito por estos lados del mundo.

  Desde los protagonistas que no recuerdo exactamente cuándo fue que los había visto pero estoy segura de haberlo hecho, sólo debo refrescar mi memoria jejeje, hasta actores galardonados como la leyenda de Bill Nighy cuya actuación para mí fue memorable al verlo interpretar a uno de los jefes de los vampiros en la Saga de Inframundo o ver a uno de mis hobbits favoritos: Martin Freeman y al sexy de Peter Serafinowicz con esa mirada de ojos claros que enamora a cualquiera.

  Por supuesto que la película tiene una trama sobre muertos vivientes, pero de forma muy jocosa y divertida, por algo se llama Zombies Party, y es que el film está enfocado en otra cosa totalmente diferente. Me voy a explicar un poco sin contarte tanto, imagina que estás teniendo una crisis existencial, cuestionando cómo vives tu vida a nivel personal/amoroso y de repente te cruzas con un zombie. ¿Te sacaría de onda? ¿Qué harías?

  Este es el punto de vista que nos muestra el director Wright con comedia irónica pero graciosa, muy diferente a la que sueles ver en el cine americano. Tiene un espectacular uso de la cámara y de maquillajes a sus personajes convertidos en zombies, manteniendo todo de manera muy sencilla, simple, pero con mucho estilo y totalmente diferente a lo que has visto en cualquier película de muertos vivientes. Se mantuvo, desde mi punto de vista muy clásico en todos los aspectos y eso para mí la hace especial.

  Ya les comenté más o menos lo que pienso del film, pero en esta parte les quiero hablar de qué fue lo que más me gustó. Seré honesta, lo que más disfruté fue las carcajadas que me sacó de forma inesperada, me reí tanto con tantas escenas buenas que casi lloro, o sea, me sorprendía a cada rato y eso es algo difícil de lograr conmigo porque suelo ser muy lógica y ya me imagino lo que viene, pero ¿qué creen? Aquí no sabes lo que sigue y eso para mí es un plus importantísimo que lo hace muy original.

  ¡Me reí tanto! Como no tienen idea, me puso de excelente humor y me acosté feliz recordando las escenas más graciosas de la película. Las actuaciones estuvieron excelentes, magníficas, no tengo queja alguna, ni siquiera para los actores que aparecieron por segundos como zombies. Todos lo hicieron estupendamente.
