Estas son las primeras líneas de una película que refleja en su tuétano la esencia de lo que se vivía en Cuba hace algunos años, una película que esconde matices realistas en una curiosa historia de amor. Historia de amor la cual refleja la picardía y elocuencia del cubano. Empieza con una reflexión sobre el amor, en su transcurso intenta definir el amor pero su abstracción hace imposible tal hazaña. A lo largo de ella se muestra este supuesto amor, describiéndolo mas no limitándolo.
``Un Rey en La Habana´´, película que refleja el caos y parte de la realidad en dos naciones, dos naciones que se unen para narrar una historia que no da lugar al aburrimiento. Su desarrollo guarda desde acción hasta giros en la trama que demuestran la creatividad de su producción y dirección. La proeza comienza con una tragedia, tragedia que da paso a una toma de decisiones disparatada para lograr una mayor estabilidad económica y de paso sacar provecho a toda costa en su desenlace.
