Hello hive friends, I am here once again to share with you my opinion about another cinematographic work.
This time I will tell you about a 2010 movie, in which our beloved actor "The Rock" is the main character.
That's right, I'm talking about Faster.
In short, the film is about the revenge of the protagonist, who has no name, they simply call him "Driver" by killing those responsible for the death of his brother years ago. Just days after getting out of jail. They are after him a policeman days after retirement and a hit man who was hired anonymously. There begins a kind of persecution.
It's that kind of movie that you don't see often anymore, I mean, it was made 12 years ago so of course you won't see them much these days.
Where you take the essentials, without much frills and make the best of all the elements.
And when I speak of essential, apparently there were plenty of dialogues and especially names. We have "The Rock" who in this case is known as "Driver" (which was his role in his brother's gang) being chased and wanted by the "Police" and the "Murderer". Neither more nor less, there are no names and they are not needed either. We all know who we are talking about.
There is no protagonist who is an international criminal. There is no police chase with a number of civil and police cars colliding. There is no team with incredible abilities of unknown origin backing the protagonist. There are no explosions and exaggerated green screen effects. No and no.
But nevertheless. If there is a lot of action. If there is drama. If there is corruption. If there is revenge.
Pure and hard action.
Where 2 involved is too much and 3 is a crowd.
And as in any action movie, you have to add one more element to give it the final touch. That complements it because not everything is shooting and revenge.
It shows us that the Protagonist is also human.
My favorite scene from the movie and the one that made me want to write about it.
Will you have the courage in your heart to forgive me?
-I dont forgive you.
-I do forgive you for what you are about to do.
There I leave them.
Sometimes when we don't forgive it's because we just can't forgive ourselves.
This movie left me a great lesson.
For more movies like this!
Cheers.
