La reseña de esta semana es sobre un drama Chino sí, por primera vez no es un drama coreano 🤭 este es uno de los dramas que más he disfrutado este año y es que últimamente he sentido que ya no disfruto los dramas como antes, sin darme cuenta se había convertido en una carrera, estaba viendo los dramas como si alguien me estaba persiguiendo, o sea rápido ¡porque ya salió otro drama nuevo del que todo el mundo está hablando y ya quiero verlo! Me estaba resultando agotador en vez de relajante, hasta que decidí ver este drama después de posponerlo tantos meses y volví a sentirme como me sentí cuando comencé a ver dramas asiáticos. 🥰

It was becoming exhausting instead of relaxing, until I decided to watch this drama after putting it off for so many months, and I felt the way I did when I first started watching Asian dramas. 🥰

Antes de dar mi opinión sobre este drama quiero contarles un poco como llegué a saber de su existencia, resulta que el año pasado Corea estreno un drama llamado Family by choice, ese drama fue uno de mis preferidos del año pasado por lo tanto también le hice su respectiva reseña, pero navegando por las redes me encuentro que hay mucha gente a la que no le gustó el drama ¿la razón? La versión original o sea, Go Ahead les pareció mejor, desde entonces sentí curiosidad por verlo, pero tengo una lista tan larga de dramas coreanos por ver qué prefería posponerlo.
Before giving my opinion on this drama, I want to tell you a little bit about how I found out about it. Last year, Korea premiered a drama called Family by Choice, which was one of my favorites from last year, so I also wrote a review of it. However, while browsing the internet, I found that there are many people who did not like the drama. The reason? They thought the original version, Go Ahead, was better. Since then, I've been curious to see it, but I have such a long list of Korean dramas to watch that I decided to put it off.
Hasta que un día tomé la decisión de verlo no fue fácil pues tiene 40 capitulos y Corea me tiene acostumbrada a 24 el drama más largo 🤭 pero aún así acepte el reto y comencé a verlo con bajas expectativas, en realidad no pensé fuese a gustarme, pero me equivoqué 🥹 es uno de los dramas más hermosos que he visto este año. 🥰
Until one day I made the decision to watch it, it wasn't easy because it has 40 episodes and Korea has me used to 24 being the longest drama 🤭 but even so, I accepted the challenge and started watching it with low expectations. I still think the Korean version is very good too, but I must admit that Go Ahead delves much deeper into the story and the life of each character, which makes it easier to empathize with them and grow fond of them. I think that having 40 episodes makes it easier to tell the story in broad strokes without leaving any gaps or anything unclear.
Llegué a la conclusión de que sin importar si el drama es coreano, chino o japonés está historia siempre me va a gustar y conmover muchísimo porque es realmente un drama muy hermoso que reflexiona sobre el abandono, la separación, la sanación y también la reconciliación, además de que explora la dinámica familiar y es muy hermoso de ver cómo personas que no están relacionadas de sangre logra crear un vínculo aún más fuertes que las sí lo están, en este drama se envidencia que tú verdadera familia son esas personas que están allí para tí en todo momento, esos que sin lazos de sangre te aman te apoyan y te sostienen en tus momentos más vulnerables.
I came to the conclusion that regardless of whether the drama is Korean, Chinese, or Japanese, I will always love and be deeply moved by this story because it is truly a beautiful drama that reflects on abandonment, separation, healing, and reconciliation. It also explores family dynamics, and it is very beautiful to see how people who are not related by blood manage to create bonds that are even stronger than those who are. This drama shows that your true family are those people who are there for you at all times, those who, without blood ties, love you, support you, and sustain you in your most vulnerable moments.
Al igual que en la versión coreana los dos padres que se hacen cargo de estos niños, son de vital importancia Li Hai Chao(Tu Song Yan) padre de Li Jian Jian y Ling He Ping(Zhang Xi Lin) padre de Ling Xiao. Son un verdadero pilar en esta familia compuesta, sobre todo Li Hai Chao quien cumple el rol tanto de madre como de padre de los tres, es admirable ver cómo trabaja y se encarga de la casa y la comida mientras los cría a los 3 con amor sin hacer diferencias, un verdadero padre sin duda.
As in the Korean version, the two parents who take care of these children are of vital importance: Li Hai Chao(Tu Song Yan), father of Li Jian Jian, and Ling He Ping (Zhang Xi Lin), father of Ling Xiao. They are a true pillar in this blended family, especially Li Hai Chao, who fulfills the role of both mother and father to the three children. It is admirable to see how he works and takes care of the house and food while raising the three with love and without making any distinctions—a true father, without a doubt.
Con respecto a las madres, hay una diferencia entre la madre de Ling Xiao en la versión coreana y la versión china, la de la versión coreana era una mujer bastante fría en indiferente hacia su hijo, su actitud era la de una madre que no quería a su hijo, en la versión china solo es una madre que no sabe gestionar sus emociones y comete errores como cualquiera pero se puede notar su arrepentimiento por haberlo abandonado y su amor hacía él, en cuanto la madre de He Zi Qiu son exactamente iguales en las dos versiones así que es imposible no empatizar con este personaje en cualquiera de las dos versiones.
With regard to the mothers, there is a difference between Ling Xiao's mother in the Korean version and the Chinese version. Otra cosa que ame de la versión china es que no solo incluyeron amigos cercanos a los tres protagonistas sino que también profunzaron en sus vidas, lo que para mí resultó súper interesante y entretenido, siento que le dió más sazón a la historia, con respecto a esto hay varias cosas que quisiera decir, pero no quiero hacer más espoiler del que ya he hecho. 😜
Another thing I loved about the Chinese version is that they not only included close friends of the three main characters, but also delved deeper into their lives, which I found super interesting and entertaining. I feel like it added more flavor to the story. I have several things I'd like to say about this, but I don't want to give away any more spoilers than I already have. 😜
Para finalizar no puedo dejar de mencionar a los tres principales de la historia, que trío tan bonito de hermanos, la química entre estos actores fue muy bonita y la interacción entre hermanos muy conmovedora, siempre apoyandose, siempre cómplices y dispuestos a estar en la buenas y en las malas, a los actores que interpretaron sus versiones de niños un aplauso 👏🏻 de pie, lo hicieron increíble.
Finally, I cannot fail to mention the three main characters in the story, what a beautiful trio of brothers. The chemistry between these actors was wonderful and the interaction between the brothers was very moving. They always supported each other, were always there for each other, and were willing to stick together through thick and thin. The actors who played their younger selves deserve a standing ovation 👏🏻 they did an incredible job.
Aaaah casi olvido la música 🎵 no tengo idea de quiénes son los cantantes, pero se me hico imposible saltarme la intro y el ending de cada capítulo que canciones más hermosas 😍 y conmovedoras, en fin todo el drama en conjunto me resultó maravilloso tanto así que cuando me faltaban solos dos capitulos tuve que dejarlo para el otro día, porque no me quería despedir 🥹 así de mucho me gustó, está en mi lista de dramas que veré mil veces, este drama me ayudó a calmarme y entender que nadie me está apurando así que debo ver los dramas a mi propio ritmo y que además de vez en cuando un drama de 40 capitulos no hace ningún daño y que los dramas chinos también son hermosos.🥰
Aaaah, I almost forgot about the music 🎵 I have no idea who the singers are, but I found it impossible to skip the intro and ending of each episode. Such beautiful 😍 and moving songs. Anyway, I found the whole drama so wonderful that when I only had two episodes left, I had to leave it for the next day because I didn't want to say goodbye. 🥹 I liked it that much. It's on my list of dramas that I'll watch a thousand times. This drama helped me calm down and understand that no one is rushing me, so I should watch dramas at my own pace and that, besides, a 40-episode drama doesn't hurt once in a while, and that Chinese dramas are also beautiful.🥰
