Wow, thank you for this beautiful and honest recommendation. The way you described your emotional reactions; especially after episode 5 really pulled me in. I could literally feel the intensity just through your words! I also love shows that take their time to build real emotional weight, so the idea that each episode represents a new year sounds incredibly unique and meaningful. I’ve seen Normal People too, and if Los Años Nuevos gives anything close to that feeling, I have to watch it. Also, thank you for the reflection part; it hit me in the chest a bit.
