The love hate relationship with Daredevil Born Again INTENSIFIES!!!! episode 8 just release but I had to watch and post 7 first, episode 7 just made me mad AF the reason why is because this series keeps burning villains like there is no tomorrow but still keeps Kingpin and Daredevil far away from each other. I know they probably trying to keep Kingpin as the final boss but how could they get rid of such a big character like Muse so quick, yeah the guy is dead. Don't get me wrong, there were some great moments during the episodes, specially when it comes to fight scenes but overall the episode feels rushed in moments where it should have taken a while or at least a break, it also feels like episodes are getting shorter with each episode, honestly I'm started to get disappointed by this series, if they keep it this way it wont end well for the audience.

The sequence of how things happen and keeping the thread has not been difficult so far, each other episode starts where the story was left, this time right after Murdock went fully Daredevil and put on the red suit to rescue Angela after she went missing. The next day he comes back home and Heather finds him all bruise up, she knows there is something cooking but don't want to ask much, their relationship is taking a complex twist as Matt tries to balance his personal life with his vigilante duties and Heather knows this, after all thats her job. Aside from the villains and vigilante on the city there is a new factor to take in consideration, that is Fisk new task force, they have green light to go after any vigilante, in fact anyone who use a mask is the target, either Daredevil or Muse.

Before watching episode 7 I had my own reason to think I knew who Muse was, it was silly because it was a single scene around episode 2 or 3, where Heather is singing up books for her fans and there is one guy who showed up and was never talk about again. Right from the start of the episode we got to meet the irl Muse who ask Heather for a meeting and she agree, for her surprise it was the psychopath who was painting the city in blood. I have seen videos where others who know more about the comic mention Muse identity is never revealed, I'm not the guy who cares much about lore specially when I know nothing about it like the comics but what throws me off is the fact that Muse got wipe out in two episodes??? are they going to try to give us the entire comic on a single TV Series?? this is something I'm not enjoying at all, production value is there since the series looks very neat when it comes to fight scenes, customs, effects, but its the script that is killing it, literally, killing villains too fast.
Even though Muse doesn't talk that much during the series, when he is with Heather having a session does give that pure evil vibes without remorse but at the same time that sick look on his eyes like he doesn't even understand the reasons and why he is like that, this make him a very interesting character in the surface, reason why I personally wanted him to last longer than other villains in the series so far. In contrast to Daredevil, Muse does know he is sick and evil without denying, he embrace it all the way and doesn't have the struggles that Murdock does with been Daredevil. On the series is almost like Muse didn't even wanted to kill people because he feels the need to go through the rush and experience of killing, in fact he seem to do it for the blood and paint his twisted art to speak through it, it is the case of his critics against Mayor Fisk.

The episode main fight between Muse and Daredevil was very very intense, everything did happen so quick but Heather was on the line, not only Muse try to kill her during the fight but also cut her up badly so she was loosing blood during the entire time. Aside from this fight the only other moment that kinda open the door for whats coming up next, in my opinion is when Vanessa had a talk with Luca. Vanessa seem to be on Fisk side 110% since she basically throw Luca to the jackal, telling him where to find Fisk and that he would be alone only problem is that this was a trap and he was expected. My question to Vanessa loyalty is what is going to happen when she finds out what Fisk is doing to Adam, slowly but surely is what is drowning Fisk into his dark side, he doesn't want to fully commit all because he is the mayor but there are signs from his rage, fight and he stop eating healthy so he is also putting some weight, soon the real Kingpin will show up.
I'm still on the same territory where I like the series but I hate how they getting rid of one villain after another. There is the slow evolution of Fisk back to Kingpin that is cooking at the moment, let him cook!!! , for now he has the task force taking credit for Muse death, he is trying to push this message that the city got you, the mayor got you, but I think he will go out of control when the task force cant even take credit for others doing. Heather is starting to question Matt about his doing, why he is all beat up, why he is out at night, so eventually she will connect the dots, another aspect of the series that is building up slowly but will be very effective in ways to thrown off balance Matt / Daredevil, we all know things go south when the Vigilante identify gets revealed. At this point in time I do not expect the series to change its ways, they will keep burning through villains with great fight scenes, the series have shown flashes of greatness and after everything that I don't like from it, it still shines with enough quality for me to keep watching but more into the 7/10 territory now.
