I recently finished watching The Office, and man, I wish it never ended. I had the show on my playlist for almost a year and I even watched the first 2 episodes once and just stopped and started watching something else (probably some Marvel show). But when I got back to it around three months ago, I was cooked; I watched a few episodes everyday and sometimes I had to pause though to the unbearable awkwardness or the lack of self-awareness from Michael Scott.
If You Haven't Watched it Yet, DO IT!! ( in Palpatine voice)
I don’t know why exactly I avoided this show for as long as I did, but whatever the reason was, I thank the heavens that some day I just decided to give it a try again and accidentally gifted myself this absolut treasure.
Granted, sometimes the characters become insufferably irritating and like I said the awkwardness goes to the roof, but it will all be worth it, probably.
Do You Mean It’s Better Than ‘Friends’?
Yes,at least for me. I know that comedy is subjective and for that reason alone, I can’t make the claim that the Office is better than Friends, and frankly it’s been a few years since I watched the Friends show; but I’m gonna say it, I think the office is better overall.
One major difference between the two is the level of realism in the office. The whole idea of the show is that a documentary group tries to capture the everyday experience of this paper company's employees, but of course the experience is anything but ordinary.
The Legend Himself, Michael Scott
The star of the show of course is none other than the regional manager of the branch, Micheal Scott. There’s only one thing that I’m gonna say about him: he’s either gonna make you die from laughter, or he's gonna make you die from embarrassment.
Who knows, maybe this show will become your favorite sitcom, in that case you’re welcome, and if not, you can live life knowing that you gave it a try and it simply wasn’t for you.
