Cordial greetings Hiverians of the Blockchain constellation, once again I come in peace to talk to you about another topic of movies and series, any of you remember GOT and how it all ended, did you remember that most of us were very dissatisfied with the accelerated ending they gave it? it's funny because it was actually the fans who were asking left and right to finish producing the series once and for all even when the books from which the story came out were not even finished xd.
The gifs were made and edited by me taking direct screen recordings from the series.
Anyway, but this time let's focus on this prequel called "The House of the Dragon" which is based on "Fire & Blood" written by George R.R. Martin who in turn is the creator of the series itself and executive producer, HBO's new bet to revive almost by force the former glory that GOT had given him, here the events take place 172 years before the birth of Daenerys Targaryen.
Although I know nothing about "Fire & Blood" I must say that both stories are quite similar, a whole mess to see who will inherit the iron throne, conspiracies everywhere and probably intra-family betrayals for a few chapters or seasons, however, despite appearing to be more of the same, it is still interesting and I do not think old GOT fans are going to reject it after the disaster of the last two seasons haha.
In fact many people on the internet complained about several things regarding the new installment, they even pointed out that due to certain technicalities the series would break with the canon of the original story, but anyway, I wanted to give a brief summary and discuss what happens in the first episode to give input to the next chapter coming soon.
From what most of us managed to notice, apparently we will have Rhaenyra Targaryen as an important character and main protagonist, most of us probably thought it at the beginning of the chapter when we see her getting off the dragon she was riding flying through the skies a few moments before, although if I'm honest, if you have not read "Fire & Blood" I would not trust so much, G.R.R.M. may have a couple of surprises waiting for you.
According to "Fire & Blood" Rhaenyra is even smaller when she is put to rule, younger in short, in fact despite being an adult actress, she does look quite young, plus, I don't know about you, but in a way I can't help but see Daenerys in the protagonist haha, I'm a bit captivated by the conviction she has of not being a simple damsel and even hinting at wanting to be a warrior.
In the chapter we have various emotions, intrigue, joy, sadness, we have the beginning of a new story, birth and death, tragedy from this first chapter and it's just the first chapter xd, this is the kind of series that makes me not watch them until they have finished at least the whole season to do marathon, since I'm not good at waiting a week between chapters, although I still do it.
Tell me what you thought about this first episode? the conclusions about what could happen? but only if you are someone who has not read "Fire & Blood", so as not to give more spoilers I will withdraw here and if you haven't seen it yet, what are you waiting for to watch it and leave me your delicious vote?,says goodbye hoping you have a great week.
