Spider-man: No Way Home is a gem of movie that focuses on the maturation of the character in his beginnings as a hero.
The film takes place 8 months after the blip caused by Thanos in Avengers: Endgame, set in the year 2024, after Mysterio revealed his identity as the hero, Peter (Tom Holland) is forced to escape from the authorities after being an accomplice in Beck's death, going through various adversities that prevent him from continuing with a normal life.
After hiring attorney Matt Murdock a.k.a. Daredevil (played by the actor Charlie Cox) to carry out his liberation, decides to meet Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) to try to create a spell that would make forget to the entire world that Peter Parker is Spider-man. The spell did not go well at all as it was interrupted by Peter several times, creating a gap in the multiverse (the same gap that appears in the Loki series) and attracting characters from other universes who did know of his character identity.
The appearance of Doctor Octopus, Green Goblin, Sandman, Electro, The Lizard and Venom creates a vibe similar to what we witness in the comics as the Sinister Six. The film contains a pleasant and humorous tone at the beginning, but this changes and becomes increasingly darker as the third act approaches.
The arrival of so many villains also brings the arrival of familiar characters from previous sagas, yes, I'm talking about Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire repeating their previous arachnid roles. Before making an appearance in their classic suits, they team up as scientists first before dealing with their threat.
The three spider-men, along with Strange, join forces to defeat the opponents, being able to finish said spell by returning Peter to a normal life.
The film concludes the saga of the arachnid in the MCU giving him the maturity that the character needs for subsequent appearances in different Sony and Disney projects, involving new characters known throughout the project that will undoubtedly make you increase the hype in the cinemas.
