It's interesting to see how other cultures treat LGBT+ people, but seeing how the setting is during the 80's I can bet safely that they weren't well treated

This kind of movie movie is great to check the progress we did as a society (but we still have s long way to go) and also a reminder that lgbt+ folks always existed even if some more closed minded people wished otherwise.
