Whenever I see Ryan Reynolds I get high expectations. I like the guy and he is mostly always enjoyable in all movies. He has a humor and he cannot betray that humor. As a result, he always ends up being a funny character and I have loved in many movies because of that. And I even enjoy him in different YouTube clips on his YouTube channel, simply because he makes me smile so often. In fact, he even made me fall in love with the song Grace Kelly again after I saw his little funny clip on YouTube a while ago.
But let us forget about Grace Kelly for a while and rather return to The Adam Project. Or maybe we shouldn't? I'd rather listen to Grace Kelly 30 times than to stream The Adam Project once again.
What was the problem with The Adam Project?
I don't really know, but this was simply a movie that I had a very hard time enjoying. Even though you had Ryan Reynolds and Mark Ruffalo (two guys I like), the story just ended up being extremely boring, and even though the young version of Adam was cute as well, this was just unbearable.
I have a hard time explaining why I found the movie so boring, but unlike me, I really just wished for the movie to come to an end, and in the heat of the final action, I actually looked at my phone and checked some crypto news instead. It was just boring.
In other words, The Adam Project wasn't a movie for me. If I had to watch a Ryan Reynolds movie on Netflix again right now, then I'd much rather watch Red Notice in which he performs together with Gal Gadot and Dwayne Johnson. That wasn't an awesome movie either, but it was still way better and more amusing than The Adam Project.
But, if you want some real action with Ryan Reynolds, go ahead and watch The Hitman's Bodyguard, that is pure joy and action the way I like it!
