This one took a long time coming, majorly because of my poor network and not knowing if there are people here actually enjoying these reviews. I like talking about the show anyway so let's dive right in.
In this episode, we see Molly actually put in effort into her relationship with Andrew although she's still consumed with work, she affirms him she'd do better. She works way into the night with Andrew on her bed waiting for some pre-planned sex. Andrew sleeps off while waiting for Molly to get work done, she realizes it's past 1am and goes over to wake him up. There is some good good loving of course.
Tiffany finally delivered her baby and is hit real hard by motherhood. Issa, Molly and Kelli pay her a visit and they all fawn over the new born while comforting Tiffany. Lawrence also visits the baby finds out from Derek that he and Tiffany weren't actually prepared for a baby just yet, but now that she was here, it was all love.
Molly and Issa are both awkward around each other and the tension can be felt in the living room admist all the baby love around. Molly even comes at Issa after Issa makes a joke about her.
Lawrence spots Issa in the living room and signals her to meet up in the courtyard. They see outside and catch up with laughs like old times and then Lawrence says he's got something to tell Issa. I still love you Issa? 🤷 Just then, Issa's phone rings and she finds out the headliner artist for her party had pulled out. She's pissed and frustrated and Lawrence says it's better he leaves the discussion for some other time so she sorts her party problems.
Issa announces she has to leave and at the same time, Molly spots Lawrence leaving too and assumes Issa and Lawrence were leaving together.
Issa calls and asks for Molly's help in talking to Andrew about getting a new artist to headline her show with his connections. But Molly later let's her know she wouldn't be asking Andrew for the favor as she didn't want anything interfering with her relationship with Andrew. This leaves Issa highly disappointed.
This episode was really short yo. About 5 minutes shorter than usual
Molly places her romantic relationship over her friendship with Issa. Issa is really pained and surprised but could it be Issa feels entitled? She often expects Molly to do shit for her. But then if it were Issa, I think she'd help Molly out in such situation🤔
Are these exes getting back together or no? What was Lawrence going to tell Issa? Is Condola out of the picture? Guess we'll find out next episode. Until then, your dutiful Insecure review maestro signing out 👮
