Es la historia donde Yoon Bom (Lee Joo-bin) una profesora que tras un problema a casa de un padre de familia en la escuela que trabaja en Seúl ocasiono que ella sin el apoyo de su familia saliera huyendo o mejor dicho dejando ese problema en la que ella podría a ver demostrado que no era culpable pero para no afectar a su mamá quien es una actriz reconocida prefiere irse a un humilde pueblo y empezar de nuevo su vida, pero comportándose de otra manera, ya que ella solía ser una persona carismática, feliz, daba su opinión fuese buena o no, pero a raíz de su problema decide ser todo lo opuesto, una mujer callada, simple, sin ninguna interacción con nadie, sobre todo con los padres de sus alumnos para evitar cualquier mala interpretación que le ocasionara algún problema.
Hasta que un día conoce a Seon Jae-gyu (Ahn Bo-hyun) un hombre que físicamente por su musculatura y forma de comportarse dirías que es un loco matón o persona que atrae problemas, pero realmente es un hombre que ha sido trabajador, tras problemas familiares en donde queda a cargo de su único sobrino, desde su adolescencia lucha por sacarlo adelante, solo, terminando de estudiar la secundaria y trabajando como un burro por sacar adelante a su sobrino, dándole lo mejor, aunque no puede evitar ser algo brusco en las cosas que dice y hace, ocasionando siempre malos entendidos, lo que hace que hablen mal de él, creyendo que es una persona sin escrúpulos, sin saber lo buena que es.
Cuando Seon y Yoon Bom se encuentran su mundo ciertamente cambiaran, ya que a pesar de ser polos opuestos, cada uno aprenderá lo que el otro le falta, entre enredos, malos entendidos y momentos incomodos, las rizas no faltaran, así mismo el instante que surge para que ambos puedan darse la oportunidad de conocer lo que es amar y apreciar a una persona tal cual es, sin juicios y escuchando con atención, sin importar lo que digan los demás cada uno dará un paso adelante para conocerse y enfrentar aquellos problemas del pasado que aún siguen sin resolver, como viejas amistades que tras un malentendido dejaron atrás o familias que quizás en su momento no fueron el apoyo que debieron ser pero que quizás ahora no sea del todo tarde para resolverlo y dar un punto final a ese asunto y comenzar una nueva vida como cuando das inicio a la primavera.
