One day, after an accident that left a patient dead, Jeong-wo gets into trouble and almost loses everything he has achieved. He meets Ha-neul again. They certainly weren't the best of friends, but now, in these circumstances where Jeong-wo is in trouble and Ha-neul is also not having a good time, they will be there to support each other.
Learning that life isn't all about work, that you have to take time to have fun, that at some point everything takes its toll, and that it can somehow affect the health of those who work so hard without taking breaks, that sometimes the person you least expect can take revenge on you, and that even though the road is hard, you have to keep going, find ways to solve problems, and give yourself the opportunity to live doing what you love, not neglecting your responsibilities but taking time for yourself, where you can fall in love with someone you might never have thought you could feel anything special for.

Pero antes de hablar más de Ha-Neul, en el camino de sus ganas de cumplir su meta con la medicina, se encuentra a Yeo Jeong-woo (Park Hyung Sik) un hombre que en juventud estudio con Ha-neul, compitiendo con ella para ver quién sería el primero en la clase, para sacar las mejores notas, y siendo en lo que cabe buenos compañeros de clase aunque era más lo que peleaban por ser el mejor, cada uno tomando un camino diferente de la medicina ya que él se dedica a ser cirujano plástico con su propia clínica, un día tras un accidente que dejo una muerte del paciente, Jeong-wo se mete en problema hasta casi perder todo lo que había conseguido y vuelve a encontrarse con Ha-neul, ciertamente no eran los mejores amigos, pero ahora en estas circunstancias donde Jeong-wo está en problemas y digamos que Ha-neul tampoco está pasándola bien, serán el apoyo uno para el otro.
