Greetings to all the friends of the community, I want to tell you about The Adam Project, a film that was released on Netflix on March 11, 2022. It is a film produced by Skydance Media with a duration of 106 minutes of the science fiction genre, action, and time travel film. It was directed by Shawn Levy and stars a cast of performers we have seen in Marvel movies, including Ryan Reynolds, Zoe Saldaña, and Mark Ruffalo, as well as Catherine Keener and Walker Scobell. I love the presence of Jennifer Garner along with Mark Ruffalo who starred in the 2004 film known as 13 Going On 30.
The first movies I saw about time travel were the Back to the Future saga, I was also able to enjoy the Exterminator saga, I consider these sagas to be classics of cinema. Also as a child, I saw Groundhog Day, where a day was repeated, over and over again, in an endless cycle, very similar to the experience with The Day After Tomorrow, although with the latter there was an alien invasion. A different experience was X-Men: Days of Future Past because the mutant power was used to bring Wolverine back to the past. In 2009 Star Trek came out where an old Spot meets a younger Spot, this plot is the most similar to Project Adam. I remember Déjà vu, this was a movie with Denzel Washington and Tony Scott, where you go back in time to investigate a terrorist attack that killed 543 people on a New Orleans ferry.

Es una película producida por Skydance Media con una duración de 106 minutos, del género de ciencia ficción, acción y de viaje en el tiempo. Fue dirigida por Shawn Levy y protagonizada por un elenco de artistas que hemos visto en películas de Marvel, como Ryan Reynolds, Zoe Saldaña, y Mark Ruffalo, también se cuenta con la participación de Catherine Keener y Walker Scobell. Me encanta la presencia de Jennifer Garner junto a Mark Ruffalo que protagonizaron la película de 2004 conocida como 13 Going On 30.
Las primeras películas que vi sobre el viaje en el tiempo fueron la saga de Volver al futuro, también pude disfrutar de la saga del Exterminador, estas sagas las considero clásicos del cine. También de niño vi El Día de la Marmota, donde se repetía un día, una y otra vez, en un ciclo sin fin, muy parecida a la experiencia con El Día del Mañana, aunque con esta última había una invasión extraterrestre. Una experiencia diferente fue X-Men: Días del Futuro Pasado porque se usó el poder mutante para que Wolverine volviera al pasado. En 2009 salió Star Trek donde un viejo Spot hace un reencuentro con un Spot más joven, este argumento es el más parecido al Proyecto Adam. Recuerdo Déjà vu, esta fue una película con Denzel Washington y Tony Scott, donde se viaja en el tiempo para investigar un ataque terrorista donde mueren 543 personas en un ferry de Nueva Orleans.
Plot
In 2050, fighter pilot Adam Reed stole his jet and traveled back in time to escape on a rescue mission to 2018. In the year 2022, Adam is reunited with a 12-year-old boy struggling with the recent death of his father in a car accident. Adam reluctantly asks the young man to help fix his jet and reveals that he is looking for his wife, Laura, who is believed to have died in a 2018 accident while on assignment. Adam is being chased by the leader, Maya Thorian, and her accomplice and subordinate, Christos, as they try to stop Adam and send him back to 2050. Adam and his 14-year-old little self are rescued by Laura. She explains to them that she had escaped an assassination attempt and that in the process she had gotten stuck in the past.

Laura tells Adam that he must return to 2018 and destroy the time travel created by his father, Louis, to solve the problem and save the future. Thorian attacks and Laura sacrifices herself letting Adam and the younger version of her escape. After Torian chases him, Adam and his other selves traveled back to 2018. In 2018, the two Adams tried to ask Louis for help, but he refused, fearing the influence of science on the flow of time. Young Adam must face his future, his pain, and his anger, and realize that the cause is his lingering pain after his father's death. When the two attacked together to destroy Lewis's particle accelerator, Lewis had a change of heart and joined the mission, instead of retrieving the hard drive that contained the only copy of his time travel algorithm.

A fight broke out between Adam and his younger self, Louis, Sorian, Sorian's soldiers, and Christos, overloading the particle accelerator. Thorian attempts to shoot Louis with an armor-piercing bullet, but the accelerator's magnetic field deflects the bullet, causing it to kill the young Thorian, and as the Reed family flees, Thorian's future is erased.
With the destruction of time travel and the certainty of the future, Louis decides not to understand his destiny and plays with two Adams versions of his son before traveling back to his own time. In 2022, Adam puts aside bitterness and anger to reconcile with the mother estranged from him since Louis's death. Years later, a happier adult Adam meets Laura for the first time, the same way they met in the original timeline.

Reflection
In my opinion, it is a wonderful film, it may be a tired argument about time travel but the participation of Ryan Reynolds makes up for everything, along with other great artists. The message is poignant and familiar. Many times it is difficult to forgive ourselves, we are really hard and we judge ourselves harshly. We also tend to blame others for our mistakes and other people are affected by our behavior. We see how the future is reconciled with the past. I thought about it when I saw the movie if you traveled to the past, what would you change? I think some things I wouldn't change, other things I certainly would have advised my younger self, you could do better or change it. Time travel has a moral dilemma, changing things can alter the balance of the Universe, I think it is a temptation of humanity. If good people will travel to the past or future, they would be tempted to change history, and if this technology falls into the hands of bad people, it would be for riches, fame, power. Fortunately, it is science fiction, and we are far from achieving something like that. The story has a significant psychological impact, it also tells us about bullying and the difficulties of life, and how this can lead us to overcome ourselves. It also tells us about love, really that it overcomes all barriers, even daring to break those rules without measuring the consequences. When Adam steals the Jet and travels, he does it out of love, it is not a matter of curiosity. It is a compelling reason. The results are incredible, there is a reconciliation with the past, with his mother, with his father, with himself.
A mi parecer es una película maravillosa, puede ser un argumento desgastado, el de los viajes en el tiempo, pero la participación de Ryan Reynolds lo compensa todo, junto a otros grandes artistas. El mensaje es conmovedor y familiar. Muchas veces cuesta perdonarnos a nosotros mismos, somos realmente duros y nos juzgamos duramente. También solemos culpar a los demás de nuestros errores y otras personas se ven afectadas por nuestra conducta. Vemos como el futuro se reconcilia con el pasado. Yo lo pensé al ver la película, ¿si viajará al pasado que cambiaría? Yo creo que algunas cosas no cambiaría, otras cosas sin duda hubiera aconsejado a mí yo más joven, podrías hacerlo mejor o cambiarlo. Los viajes en el tiempo tienen un dilema moral, el cambiar las cosas puede alterar el equilibrio del Universo, opino que es una tentación de la humanidad. Si la gente buena viajará al pasado o al futuro, estaría tentada a cambiar la historia, y si esta tecnología cae a manos de gente mala, sería para obtener riquezas, fama, poder. Cuando Adam roba el Jet y viaja, lo hace por amor, no es cuestión de curiosidad. Es una razón de peso. Los resultados son increíbles, hay una reconciliación con el pasado, con su madre, con su padre, con el mismo.
