I know very well that the review of this film has already been shared on different occasions, however, I cannot silence this emotion that I carry inside and offer you the opinion of an old fox who has many toks and attention problems, who knew how to enjoy this re-release but he could not forget what is truly important in any production of the seventh art: coherence.
The "Justice League" movie was released... again.
It may seem obvious, but some people defend tooth and nail that it is not... The Justice League released by HBO MAX, also known as the "Snyder Cut", is nothing more than the same movie released years ago with a lots of new scenes.
There are no drastic changes in the story, the development is practically identical to the previous one, however, this does not mean that it is the same movie... what?
What has happened with the Snyder Cut is something that we have never experienced before, the unequivocal proof that, if you let a director work at his ease and give him all the creative freedom that his position requires, a few simple changes can ultimately, make miracles.
But of course, this is all assuming that the director has talent, otherwise not... And in the case of Snyder, he has an impressive talent: The talent to impress.
Snyder's vision.
Zack Snyder is not a bad director, I want to make that very clear from the beginning, his films are incredibly entertaining, visually fantastic, and he knows how to make all his actors look good by creating scenes that delight the viewer's senses.
Snyder enjoys every shot in this movie, but he abuses the "epic" moments to such an extent that he becomes tiresome.
Every 5 minutes we find scenes in slow motion that look beautiful, but do not add anything to the story. Most fans will be amazed to see Wonder Woman stopping bullets from an automatic machine gun in front of a bunch of kidnapped people, Flash saving his future love partner, and Aquaman breaking his shirt and walking down a pier (was this really necessary?).
Snyder's vision is not wrong, but it's not right either. One of the things that made superhero movies a resounding success (and I mean those of you know who) was the fact that the viewer could identify with his heroes, creating scenarios and moments that allowed it.
There are none of those moments, I do not want to be Batman, nor Flash, much less Aquaman... nor let's talk about Superman, who on this occasion usually remembers the character from GTA San Andreas when we use the trick to make him invincible.
Main argument.
This movie is a direct continuation of Batman VS Superman, in which Doomsday kills Superman and leaves planet earth without his protector.
In order to kill Superman, Lex Luthor uses the power of a mother box to create Doomsday, and by doing this he ends up activating it, sending a signal into space that would cause Steppenwolf (another great villain) to appear on the scene.
All these films are interconnected, just like the other cinematic universe of you know who, this interconnection begins with the Man of Steel movie, in which Kal-El kills General Zod while trying to save the earth.
The same body of General Zod is used by Lex Luthor to create Doomsday in Batman VS Superman.
If you want to clarify the timeline much more, I recommend you see the Man Of Steel movie, then the Batman VS Superman (extended version, since the normal version leaves many loose ends) and finally the Snyder Cut.
It was an amazing idea.
The director's idea was to create a Justice League trilogy based on different realities that were born as a result of the decisions made by the heroes, with Flash being the thread that would connect the multiverse due to his ability to travel through time.
In the first movie (the Snyder Cut) we would live a reality where the heroes defeat Steppenwolf and save the world momentarily, while in Justice League 2, we would live the adventures of Batman and the rest of the characters, in a destroyed universe by the invaders and ruled by an evil Superman who succumbed to the power of Darkseid's anti-life equation.
This next movie was going to be marked by a lot of cruelty, and as we see at the end of the Snyder Cut, we would have Jared Leto's Joker accompanying Batman, Flash and even Deathstroke, something that would undoubtedly be incredible to see and that is why many fans decided to ask screaming for the "Snyder Verse" to be restored.
Finally, in the third movie of the league, all the universes would converge into one to save all possible realities, with the incredible sacrifice of Batman, who will die saving Lois Lane, thus preventing Superman from becoming evil, and the appearance of multiple characters from other timelines, united all against the infinitely powerful Darkseid who has the power to move between the different realities without problem, thus preventing order from being restored.
The great heroes of the Snyder Cut.
Snyder's treatment of his heroes is undoubtedly much more respectful than that given by Josh Whedon in the previous adaptation, however it is incoherent, he is more concerned with making them look like gods, rather than giving them the credibility that comes from take actions consistent with your principles.
In one scene we see Aquaman save a man from a storm in the middle of the ocean, take him to a tavern, and ask everyone to respect the ocean ... but two minutes later, before returning to the water in slow motion, he himself Aquaman protector of the seas, throws a bottle of liquor on the beach.
Where are the values and coherence of the protector of the ocean?
At the same time we see Flash, the fastest man in the universe, save a girl who suffers a very strong collision with a truck that runs a traffic light, it is a terrible event, the vehicle explodes, the trucker could be dead, surely there could be more injuries and imminent danger, but Flash simply wants to save the brunette he likes, and abuses his super speed to caress her in the middle of the act? ... Flash is a sick and stalker!!
Another hero we knew would get a lot more screen time in the Snyder Cut is Cyborg, a man turned into a machine with the help of one of the mother boxes.
Cyborg is a super intelligent character capable of doing basically anything when it comes to hacking the internet and recognizing or searching for data online, however in one of the scenes he tells Batman that he thought he did not exist (he thought that Batman did not exist), in other words, Bruce Wayne's safety is much greater than we thought and in all the years he's been Batman, even though the sign shines in the Gotham City sky every night, Cyborg was unable to get proof of his existence... maybe Cyborg is not as intelligent as we think, and that is...
Nonsense takes over the Snyder Cut.
In one of the scenes we see Cyborg hiding one of the mother boxes that could completely destroy the planet... hides it in a mega structure? He flies her to the moon?... No, he buries her in a cemetery, less than half a meter deep... a place where anyone would have seen the movement of the earth and unearthed everything.
The main problem with this film is that it is more concerned with the look of the heroes than their ability, and being something inspired by the comics, it leaves much to be desired.
Everything gets worse when Superman revives and we see him fight with the rest of the league members, who cannot even touch or stop him, except Cyborg, who for some reason manages to placate Superman with his silly rocket boosters, and even makes him back off.
This is where things lose all the meaning of the world, there is no scale of power that must be respected, Superman can handle everyone alone, he is capable of receiving a direct blow from Steppenwolf and even so, sometimes he feels very weak.
All this has its explanation in the comics, in which they talk about the reason why Clark decides to wear the black suit...
References without explanation = inconsistencies.
Continuing with Superman's black suit, in this film we will see endless references created to satisfy the fans, but that a person who has no idea of comics, would never understand.

Snyder is a lover of comics, all fans respect him because, according to reliable sources, he is one of the directors who understands the world of DC Comics the most, however, he does not make the slightest effort to reach people who do not they are fanatics like him.
A film adaptation of a book or novel is good when it includes as much as possible of the original work and it even allows correcting errors by the author, that way those who read the book feel that what they have imagined is well represented on screen and at the same time new viewers fully understand the story without having to go online to find explanations.
Snyder completely forgets this and that is why even in 4 Hours of Movie, there are A LOT of things that will make no sense to the average viewer.

Visual effects and screen format.
The visual effects of this movie can be improved, but not the worst... and although many people have complained about the boxy look in which it was delivered, it all makes sense when you we think about the little budget that it had.
In the cinema and in the audiovisual arts in general there is a lot of energy expenditure involved, computers and servers must spend days and even weeks working fully to create those visual effects that we like so much, unfortunately time is also equivalent to money spent, for Thus, choosing to have a square look was vital so that the effects could be what they are, and not something many times worse.
When rendering a 3D image for visual effects, the larger the frame, the more time it will take to do so and therefore its dollar value will be higher. That is why the producers decided to cut the image and with it, a lot of details that we could only see if they decide at some point to release this cut in widescreen format, or who knows, perhaps the original footage was recorded in 8K with a square aspect and They cut it out for the panoramic version, in that case we would be seeing more details now, but I don't think so.
Anyway, the effects are quite good without being innovative, in some moments they feel like visual effects that we could get in a Netflix series, and even the Superman series has similar compositions.
It is when we see the characters that are 100% CGI (computer generated) that we come to notice the effort and the shortcomings of the equipment, for example, Steppenwolf looks incredibly better than in the previous film, but very far from his appearance in the comics.
Music and sound effects... epically boring.
Back, Snyder only knows how to make his heroes look like gods on screen, but after a while he becomes very tired.
Every time Wonder Woman appears, a long slow-motion sequence is presented with an Amazonian song in the background, I don't know if I'm watching Justice League or a Disney movie like Pocahontas...
Aquaman, more of the same... Always with epic music, and there is even an unnecessarily long slow motion scene where the residents of an island sing a song to their protector as he dives into the ocean depths.
The music is good... but badly used, however the sound effects and the quality of the ambient and general audio are quite good, but we are talking about a Hollywood movie, it is something to be expected.
There is not much to say about this section, as always it is not something that many people care about, but it is worth mentioning.
An uncertain future.
As I said at the beginning of this post, the future of the Snyder Verse is in we shall see, although fans want to see the full story of Zack Snyder for these heroes, I really don't think it lives up to the hype and I think the DCU deserves stories a lot. more complex and directors who know how to take advantage of the undeniable talent that all actors have.
I believe, and with this I end, that the steps that Warner has taken in making the solo Joker movie, Robert Pattinson's next Batman and also the future Green Lantern, are correct steps. I'm not one of the fans who gets attached to a director just for the sale of smoke or solidarity.

Se muy bien que ya se ha compartido en diferentes ocasiones la review de esta película, sin embargo, no puedo acallar esta emoción que llevo dentro y ofrecerles la opinión de un zorro viejo que tiene muchos toks y problemas de atención, que supo disfrutar este reestreno pero no pudo olvidarse de lo verdaderamente importante en cualquier producción del séptimo arte: la coherencia.
Se estrenó la película de "La liga de la justicia"... otra vez.
Puede parecer evidente, pero algunas personas defienden a capa y espada que no lo es... La liga de la justicia estrenada por HBO MAX, también conocida como "el Snyder cut", no es mas que la misma película estrenada hace años con un montón de escenas nuevas.
No hay cambios drásticos en la historia, el desarrollo es prácticamente idéntico a la anterior, sin embargo, esto no quiere decir que sea la misma película... qué?
Lo que ha ocurrido con el Snyder Cut es algo que nunca habíamos vivido antes, la prueba inequívoca de que, si dejas trabajar a un director a sus anchas y le das toda la libertad creativa que requiere su puesto, unos simples cambios pueden en definitiva, hacer milagros.
Pero claro, todo esto es suponiendo que el director tenga talento, de otra manera no... Y en el caso de Snyder, tiene un talento impresionante: El talento de impresionar.
La visión de Snyder.
Zack Snyder no es un mal director, quiero dejar muy claro eso desde el comienzo, sus películas son increíblemente entretenidas, visualmente fantásticas, y sabe hacer lucir bien a todos sus actores creando escenas que deleitan los sentidos del espectador.
Snyder disfruta cada plano de esta película, pero abusa de los momentos "épicos" a tal punto que llega a ser cansino.
Cada 5 minutos nos encontramos con escenas en cámara lenta que se ven preciosas, pero no aportan nada a la historia. Los mas fans alucinarán al ver a Wonder Woman deteniendo balas de una ametralladora automática delante de un montón de personas secuestradas, a Flash salvando a su futura pareja amorosa, y Aquaman rompiendo su camiseta y caminando por un muelle (en serio era necesario esto?).
La vision de Snyder no es incorrecta, pero tampoco la adecuada. Una de las cosas que hicieron que las películas de superheroes fueran un éxito rotundo (y me refiero a las de ya saben quien) fue el hecho de que el espectador se pudiera identificar con sus heroes, creando escenarios y momentos que así lo permitieran.
No existe ninguno de esos momentos, yo no quiero er Batman, ni Flash, mucho menos Aquaman... ni hablemos de Superman, quien en esta ocasión suele recordar al personaje de GTA San Andreas cuando usamos el truco para hacerlo invencible.
Argumento principal.
Esta película es una continuación directa de Batman VS Superman, en la que Doomsday mata a Superman y deja al planeta tierra sin su protector.
Para poder matar a Superman, Lex Luthor usa el poder de una caja madre para crear a Doomsday, y al hacer esto termina activándola, enviando una señal al espacio que haría que Steppenwolf (otro gran villano) apareciera en la escena.
Todas estas películas están interconectadas, al igual que el otro universo cinematográfico de ya saben quién, esta interconexión inicia con la película de Man of Steel, en la que Kal-El mata al general Zod mientras intenta salvar la tierra.
El mismo cuerpo del general Zod es usado por Lex Luthor para crear a Doomsday en Batman VS Superman.
Si quieres aclarar mucho mas la linea de tiempo, te recomiendo ver la película de Man Of Steel, luego la de Batman VS Superman (version extendida, pues la version normal deja muchos cabos sueltos) y por último el Snyder Cut.
Era una increíble idea.
La idea del director era crear una trilogía de La liga de la justicia basada en diferentes realidades que nacieron a raíz de las decisiones tomadas por los héroes, siendo Flash el hilo que conectaría al multiverso debido a su capacidad de viajar en el tiempo.
En la primera película (el Snyder Cut) viviríamos una realidad en donde los héroes vencen a Steppenwolf y salvan al mundo momentáneamente, mientras que en La liga de la justicia 2, viviríamos las aventuras de Batman y el resto de personajes, en un universo destruido por los invasores y gobernado por un maligno Superman que sucumbió ante el poder de la ecuación anti vida de Darkseid.
Esta siguiente película iba a estar marcada por mucha crueldad, y como vemos al final del Snyder Cut, tendríamos al Joker de Jared Leto acompañando a Batman, Flash e incluso Deathstroke, algo que sin duda sería increíble de ver y por ello muchos fans decidieron pedir a gritos que se restaure el "Snyder Verse".
Por último, en la tercera película de la liga, todos los universos convergerían en uno para salvar todas las realidades posibles, con el increíble sacrificio de Batman, quién morirá salvando a Lois Lane, evitando así que Superman se haga maligno, y la aparición de múltiples personajes de otras lineas temporales, unidos todos contra el infinitamente poderoso Darkseid quien tiene el poder de moverse entre las distintas realidades sin problema, impidiendo así que se restaure el orden.
Los grandes héroes de la Snyder Cut.
El tratamiento que le da Snyder a sus héroes es sin duda mucho más respetuoso que el dado por Josh Whedon en la adaptación anterior, sin embargo es incoherente, está más preocupado por hacerlos lucir como unos dioses, en lugar de darles la credibilidad que proviene de tomar acciones consonantes con tus principios.
En una escena vemos a Aquaman salvar a un hombre de una tormenta en medio del océano, llevarlo a una taberna y pedirle a todos que respeten el océano... pero a los dos minutos, antes de volver al agua en cámara lenta, el mismo Aquaman protector de los mares, lanza una botella de licor a la playa.
Donde están los valores y la coherencia del protector del océano?
Al mismo tiempo vemos a Flash, el hombre mas rápido del universo, salvar a una chica que sufre un choque bastante fuerte con un camión que se salta un semáforo, es un evento terrible, el vehículo explota, el camionero podría estar muerto, seguro que podría haber más heridos y peligro inminente, pero Flash simplemente quiere salvar a la morena que le gusta, y abusa de su super velocidad para acariciarla en medio del acto?... Flash es un enfermo y acosador!!
Otro de los héroes que sabíamos que recibiría mucho más tiempo en pantalla en la Snyder Cut es Cyborg, un hombre convertido en máquina con ayuda de una de las cajas madres.
Cyborg es un personaje super inteligente capaz de hacer básicamente lo que sea cuando se trata de hackear el internet y reconocer o buscar datos en línea, sin embargo en una de las escenas le dice a Batman que pensaba que no existía (pensaba que Batman no existía), en otras palabras, la seguridad de Bruce Wayne es mucho mayor de lo que pensábamos y en todos los años que lleva siendo Batman, aunque todas las noches brilla la señal en el cielo de Ciudad Gótica, Cyborg fue incapaz de conseguir pruebas de su existencia... quizás Cyborg no es tan inteligente como creemos, y es que...
El sinsentido se apodera de la Snyder Cut.
En una de las escenas vemos a Cyborg escondiendo una de las cajas madre que podrían destruir por completo el planeta... la esconde en una mega estructura? Se la lleva volando a la luna?... No, la entierra en un cementerio, a menos de medio metro de profundidad... un sitio donde cualquiera habría visto el movimiento de tierra y desenterrado todo.
El principal problema de esta película es que esta mas preocupada por el look de los heroes que la capacidad de los mismos, y al ser algo inspirado en los comics, deja mucho que desear.
Todo empeora cuando revive Superman y lo vemos pelear con el resto de miembros de la liga, quienes no pueden siquiera tocarlo o detenerlo, menos Cyborg, quien por algún motivo logra aplacar a Superman con sus tontos cohetes de propulsion, y hasta lo hace retroceder.
Es aquí donde las cosas pierden todo el sentido del mundo, no hay una escala de poder que se deba respetar, Superman puede con todos el solo, es capaz de recibir un golpe directo de Steppenwolf y aun así, a veces se nota muy débil.
Todo esto tiene su explicación en los comics, en los que se habla de la razón por la que Clark decide vestir el traje negro...
Referencias sin explicación = incongruencias.
Siguiendo con el traje negro de Superman, en esta película veremos un sin fin de referencias creadas para satisfacer a los fans, pero que una persona que no tiene idea de los comics, jamas entendería.
RESPONDE:

Snyder es un amante de los comics, todos los fans lo respetan porque, según fuentes confiables, es uno de los directores que más entiende el mundo de DC Comics, sin embargo, no hace ni el más mínimo esfuerzo para llegar a las personas que no son fanáticas como él.
Una película adaptación de un libro o novela es buena cuando incluye lo mayor posible de la obra original y hasta se permite corregir errores del autor, de esa forma quienes leyeron el libro sienten que lo que han imaginado está bien representado en pantalla y al mismo tiempo los nuevos espectadores entienden por completo la historia sin tener que irse a internet a buscar explicaciones.
Snyder olvida por completo esto y es por ello que incluso en 4 Horas de película, hay MUCHAS cosas que para el espectador promedio no tendrán sentido alguno.
☞ Respuesta a la trivia del segmento: C., Superman usa un traje negro especial que absorbe mucha más energía del sol y por eso es más poderoso ademas de que se curan sus heridas más rápido.
Efectos visuales y formato de pantalla.
Los efectos visuales de esta película son mejorables, pero no los peores... y aunque muchas personas se han quejado del aspecto cuadrado en el que fue entregada, todo cobra sentido cuando pensamos en el poco presupuesto que tuvo la misma.
En el cine y en las artes audiovisuales en general hay mucho gasto energético de por medio, ordenadores y servidores deben pasar días y hasta semanas trabajando a plenitud para crear esos efectos visuales que tanto nos gustan, lamentablemente el tiempo equivale también a dinero gastado, por ello, elegir tener un aspecto cuadrado era algo vital para que los efectos pudieran ser lo que son, y no algo muchas veces peor.
Al renderizar una imagen 3D para los efectos visuales, mientras más grande sea el encuadre de la misma, mas tiempo costará hacerlo y por ende su valor en dólares sera superior. Por ello los productores decidieron recortar la imagen y con ello, un montón de detalles que solo podríamos ver si deciden en algún momento estrenar este corte en formato de pantalla panorámica, o quien sabe, quizás el metraje original fue grabado en 8K con aspecto cuadrado y lo recortaron para la version panorámica, en ese caso estaríamos viendo mas detalles ahora, pero no lo creo.
Como sea, los efectos son bastante buenos sin llegar a ser innovadores, en algunos momentos se sienten como efectos visuales que podríamos conseguir en una serie de Netflix, e incluso la serie de Superman tiene composiciones similares.
Es cuando vemos los personajes que son 100% CGI (generados por computadora) que llegamos a notar el esfuerzo y las carencias del equipo, por ejemplo, Steppenwolf se ve increíblemente mejor que en la película anterior, pero muy alejado de su aspecto en los comics.
Música y efectos de sonido... épicamente aburridos.
De vuelta, Snyder solo sabe hacer que sus heroes luzcan como dioses en pantalla, pero al rato se vuelve muy cansino.
Cada vez que aparece Wonder Woman, una larga secuencia en cámara lenta se presenta con una canción Amazónica de fondo, no sé si estoy viendo La liga de la justicia o una película de Disney como Pocahontas...
Aquaman, mas de lo mismo... Siempre con música épica, y hasta hay una escena en cámara lenta, innecesariamente larga, en donde los residentes de una isla le cantan una canción a su protector mientras se zambulle en las profundidades oceánicas.
La música está bien... pero mal empleada, sin embargo los efectos de sonido y la calidad de el audio ambiente y general si son bastante buenos, pero hablamos de una película de Hollywood, es algo que se espera.
No hay mucho que decir sobre este apartado, como siempre no es algo que le importe a mucha gente, pero vale la pena mencionarlo.
Un futuro incierto.
Como dije al inicio de esta publicación, el futuro del Snyder Verse está en veremos, aunque los fans quieren ver la historia completa de Zack Snyder para estos heroes, realmente no creo que esté a la altura del hype y considero que el DCU merece historias mucho mas complejas y directores que sepan aprovechar el talento innegable que tienen todos los actores.
Creo, y con esto termino, que los pasos que ha dado Warner al hacer la película de The Joker en solitario, el proximo Batman de Robert Pattinson y también el futuro Linterna Verde, son pasos correctos. No soy de los fanáticos que se apega a un director solo por la venta de humo o solidaridad.
