I must have some friends on here, but until I figure out how to find them I'm going at it alone. This seems like the place for a helping hand, and while boosting up numbers and giving perhaps more literal than figurative clout is great, I'd like to hear some advice more than anything!
I'm a musician, video/photo artist, and all-around creative enthusiast who signed up for steemit a few years ago, and then just dropped off of social media altogether until now. Now I've got a lot of stuff to share, so much so that I feel bursting at the seams. The main one is a multi-camera streaming channel that features live performances, art making, and other creative entertainment called World Wide Basement Vibes. It's a hybrid of analog video art and HD psychedelia, musical performances, art making and other absurdist attempts at entertainment. So first things first: Where is the steem video communities, who's live streaming on where, and is there a shame-free place where artists connect and musicians promote themselves?
Is DLive where all the kids on the blockchain hang out? WWBV is there @ https://dlive.tv/BasementVibes but haven't started streaming to it yet.
Second: this site is a bit daunting from the outside. I get crypto in principal function, I have a few empty wallets and I use Brave, but's that's about it. So another question is who should I follow here, who are the best ambassadors for this platform and the proximity of endless offshoots. As someone who loaths the major social platforms, and really loves diy & democracy, where should I be looking to connect with steemers and like minded people outside steem? Any youtubers or bloggers to subscribe to for fellow content creators? Anything you can tell me to turn this pile of question marks into exclamation points would be amazing!
Lastly: I'd like to thank you in advance for the incoming advice and productive conversations. Here's a cat photo for reading (or at least scrolling) this for:
