Recently, We got invited to Biboy's birthday. He had been a good friend of ours since he started working on a factory near our house and rented on my mother's house.
My husband at that time was a stay at home dad and they became good friends and fast forward to today.
He stopped working for a year now and focused on his fish pond back home. We had to drive for almost an hour to reach their house in a moderate speed.
It was Sunday, my day off from work and we went to his invitation. Arriving tattheir house, Biboy's auntie nad mother got very busy cooking, he harvested some of his tilapia fish form his fish pond and grilled and fried for his birthday.
I did not have decent photo of the food in my plate but I got this photo of tilapia bones I and my husband finished.
Now full, we went out to the backyard and the boys, (Biboy, my husband and the visitors he had) were talking whether we go to harvest rambutan or to the fishpond
I was busy tending with my son, he was amazed to see the pigs they had.
Czak took his time looking around while drinking his coke, he does not care about anything as along I am with him.
Rambutan wins!
The body finally decided we got to the rambutan tree. At that time, ripe rambutans were few but some greens are already edible and off we went!
We passed by on their peanut field. They had an awesome growth and the peanuts are very healthy.
A man felt so relaxed on a hammock that he fell asleep.
We passed by on a corn field too! These are ready to be eaten but we don't know who the owner is so I just took photos of it.
I got so amazed with views around, I felt so connected with nature and it felt like it was what my heart desired after weeks of being imprisoned in the four walls of my workplace.
he boys walked so fast that I was left and i had to run to catch up with them
This mango tree had new leaves causing it to give a colorful view. Behind it is a Japanese Tulip a and is in full bloom too.
As I walked, I feel the cool breeze of te wind kissing my skin. The sun was hot but I just could not feel it; The green trees lowered the temperature around.
Soon we arrived at Biboy's Parent's house. Czak found a hammock and did a swing
While I found thie pretty purple flower that Biboy's mother planted.
An old Karomata parked outside their house too. I have good memomires with this one.
Flowers carpeted the ground; they see it a garbage but I see its beauty
Soon, Biboy and my husband clibmed up in the tree to harvest the fruit while I and my son, along with the other visitors remained on the ground picking up teh fruits that fell.
Czak had all teh freedom to eat ramubtan and funny because he prefers the green ones than the reds.
Biboy and my hubby got tired after we harvested a sack of rambutans, which we divide into portions, went back to his auntie's house to retrieve our things and headed back home.
His visitors stay for drinking sessions but we headed first since teh rain is coming. It was a great day of unexpected walking, connection with nature and enjoying the delicious treats it gave.
It was indeed happy birthday and a great day for me walk and have an escapade with my loved ones.
This will be all for now, I'll see you around. Keep safe and stay happy.
