I paid £19 plus auction fees for the above box a couople of weeks ago.
The inclusion of a couple of Raymond Weil watches had caught my eye.
The watches are both running - the larger needed a new battery. And I'm delighted as selling these will more than cover the cost of the box.
Opening the tin brought some more fun finds. You see it below after I'd been through it and tidied things into some kind of order.
There was a bunch of postcards, some photos, and some currency as shown here:
The currency is interesting. A couple of Weimar Republic notes, a 1939 Rechsmark note, some WW2 era Begian notes, and some Japanese Occupied Burmese scrip.
Selling these should also more than pay the cost of the box, so I'm on for doubled money.
The last item wasn't originialy in the box, and I'm pretty sure it wont be disposed off.
