The CEO or chief executive of a company is the one who is in charge of making the biggest decisions such as: The direction in which the company should be directed in the operational aspect, how to allocate the money and also the closing of new businesses.
The CEO is also the second or third step in the chain of command of a company, in the largest we can find the president or the administrative council and the CEO located in the organization chart.
At first the term CEO only applied to multinational companies since in their category they were those that needed a trained person to be in front of the operations of the organization in the countries that it operates, in some opportunities some companies tend to have more than a CEO.
Thanks to the fact that this term has spread throughout the world, this word is now heard daily in almost all companies, regardless of their size. This term is used to refer to the highest positions in the organization chart of the company.

El CEO o Jefe ejecutivo de una empresa es quien se encarga de tomar las decisiones mas grandes tal como: La dirección en la que se debe encaminar la compañía en el aspecto operacional, como destinar el dinero y también el cierre de nuevos negocios.
El CEO es también el segundo o tercer escalón en la cadena de mando de una compañía, en las mas grandes podemos encontrar ubicados en el organigrama al presidente o el consejo administrativo y el CEO.
En un principio el término CEO solamente se aplicaba a las empresas multinacionales ya que en su categoría eran las que necesitaban una persona capacitada para estar frente a las operaciones de la organización en los países que esta opera, en algunas oportunidades algunas compañía suelen tener mas de un CEO.
Gracias a que este término se ha expandido en todo el mundo ahora esta palabra se escucha a diario en casi todas las empresas, mas allá de su tamaño. Este término se utiliza para referirse a los puestos mas alto del organigrama de la empresa.
