It's easy to turn bearish on BTC and you don't have to look much at a price to become a bear, just try and send $50 worth of BTC from an exchange such as Binance to an external wallet and you shall notice that the fee is 0.0004 BTC($16).
That's a lot, if you ask me. You can do the shit for free with HIVE, but hey Hive is inflationary. So what? Dogecoin is inflationary as well and look at how well is holding value and what a run it had one year ago.
For a few months I started stacking on some sats here in there. I am perfectly aware of the free fall economy world wide is having, the inflation we have "at the gas pump" and also the fact that economies are turning digital, thus it would be smart to invest in such a future.
Bitcoin is often called as hard money and I have nothin against that, what I am triggered about is the high fees it has currently... or at least what the exchanges are taxing us on crypto transfers. I haven't checked how much I'd pay for a BTC non custodial to another non custodial walled transfer.
I am buying it from the open market on Binance thus I'm obliged to somehow take it out of there. But at the current fees, and I doubt these will go lower any time soon, I'm pushing the brakes on my sats accumulation process.
I am far from being wealthy, thus I was only adding some $50 worth of BTC per week, but will have to reconsider that. "As hard" as Bitcoin can be as a form of money I don't like the current fees. It's not crypto.
Hence I might consider putting some HBD in savings and fighting inflation this way, now that we seem to be getting 20% interest on staking HBD. It's funny how much Bitcoin shit Hive fixes and all the Michael Saylors and Novogratzs out there are praying so much the Bitcoin fixes this narrative.
Hive is on a fixing spree for two years now and many are sleeping on it. Not selling the rest of BTC I have, but neither do I keep on adding more. I guess I'm turning back to the altcoin guy status. Have a great Sunday and see you to the next post.
PS: hope Leofinance fixes the scheduling option as it keeps on failing on me.
Thanks for attention,
Adrian
