A few days ago I had a "holiday call" from a friend of mine who lives in Germany. He's way younger than I, quite involved with social media, but no crypto... till lately. While on the phone, at some point, he mentioned he's bought crypto.
My reaction was:how come and what did you buy? The answer was CRO(crypto.com) token and the reasoning was that he saw an add featuring Matt Damon on Facebook and he decided to put 100 euros on that coin. He also plans to leave it there for years...
Like I haven't heard that before :D. But the interesting thing in all this situation is that this guy has bought crypto based on a Facebook add. I don't have facebook for close to five years and I don't see adds with Brave browser on the sites am entering, but I'd love "to see some Hive adds".
I don't know if we could blame Matt Damon on the price performance of CRO for the past couple of months, but this one(CRO) has rallied from around $0.18 to $0.95 mostly based on hype generated by adds and marketing conducted by crypto.com.
I am aware that we don't have the same funds as crypto.com to dedicate for marketing and there are probably some whales that don't even wish for that much attention towards our blockchain, but I consider that a bit of advertising on twitter wouldn't hurt us.
I would even donate money for the cause. It's true that development is the best marketing, quote courtesy of , but I consider that advertising is worth the investment, especially when talking of a great product, such as Hive.
What do you guys think, should we have adds on twitter for Hive? Has anyone any idea how much those would cost and how can we make that happen?
Thanks for attention,
Adrian
