If someone would have told me four years ago that in 2022 I will be paying with crypto on a daily basis, that I would manage to make a living out of crypto and that the market sentiment on BTC at close to $32,000 would be extreme fear I'd tell that guy: no way.
It all starts small, it all starts perspective poor and no one can predict the reverberance any project or action can really have in a few years down the road. Over 35% of online payments are crypto and digital and I'm one of these 35%. I wish we would be 100% involved in crypto and out of fiat, but it is a time's game so patience is needed.
El Salvador made its biggest ever Bitcoin purchase last night of 500 BTC. A tiny 6.5 million inhabitants Central American country with a GDP of 24.64 billion USD in 2020(1000X lower than the one of America) is now holding over a thousand bitcoins and is in the pursuit of building the Bitcoin city.
We didn't had that in 2018... Yes, we had a pretty similar correction for BTC, price wise, probably even steeper, but the level of adoption back then was not even close. Michael Saylor has also announced lately that MicroStrategy can afford to sustain its Bitcoin loan until BTC can fall to as low as $3,600. This man is not going to sell and many other whales are doing the same.
Why would you hold to an asset that has devalued over 50% in just a few months? Because it's the future. The Good Wife movie is a 2009 movie where BTC is for the first time referenced and it's not portrayed as some ponzi, criminal money or something like that. It's the future...
So, you don't believe movie lines predicted Bitcoin ever since it was created by Satoshi Nakamoto? Well, probably this one coming from Qualcomm's CEO will have better impact: Metaverse hardware could be as big as smartphones. Nope?!
What about this one? NFTs are coming to Instagram. Meta's platform will support widely used crypto wallets, such as
MetaMask. Even damn Facebook is bullish on bitcoin and developing on the technology and we're freaking out about BTC going to $20,000 and HIVE to $0.3. So what? They're both the future.
Imagine that what Facebook is working on, Hive already is and even better. Bottom line, I'm not buying the dip, but neither selling it. As stated in a post yesterday, I'm on "camel mode" and despite the bloodbath in the market and the recession that's about to hit us, I see blue skies when I look up. Bitcoin is not about Lambos and champagne. It's about anarchism and freedom.
The IMF is freaking out about El Salvador and Panama making bitcoin legal tender cuz they losin' control. That's the gist of BTC, though, untightening the grip until finally unleashing us from debt slavery and paper money.
That's what many fuckers in the market haven't grasped by now and panic selling and buying into this coin for years now... That's about it for now, hope you have a great day and see you to the next one.
Thanks for attention,
Adrian
