Hello friends. Welcome back to my blog. I just wished that no one has ever been scammed. But is just a mere wish. If wishes had wings.
As we keep advancing in the era of cryptocurrency, we also keep moving into the era where people can be easily scammed. Some have totally taken scamming as a job that produces money and they are not ready to let go.
My friend was scammed two weeks ago and I felt very bad for her. I wish that I know the people responsible. I would have made sure that they are brought to book. That is also a wish which I don't think can work out. I know that been scammed hurts, but when it happens to you or someone close to you, you will feel the pain better. It is very bad for you to save up money to buy something or use it somewhere, then scammers will just come from no where to take it away in just a minute. I have seen some people commit suicide because of being scammed.
What do we do to Avoid been scammed?
We have informations that should be kept secret and never to be shared with a stranger who we never knew from Adam. What my friend did was to give out her Bank information to someone who called her to claim that she needs to put something in other in bank. She never asked before given what they were asking to them. Her eyes got opened when she started seeing Debit alert. She rushed to Bank to make a complain but it was already tok late. We must be very careful never to share our details outside with others, it should be kept secret.
Another special thing that we need to do is never to click any link shared asking us to click for one reason or the other. Some of those are scammers. I was almost scammed when I joined hive newly. Someone sent me message in telegram asking me to provide some information about my hive account. He also gave me a link asking me to click to make money. According to him, he has made a lot of money through it. But thank God I didn't respond. Sometimes again someone sent me a message through discord telling me that I have won a big amount of money asking me to click a link provided in the message to claim what I have won. I also did not click and that was my savior.
We need to be very careful. Scammers are all over the place. Be careful 🙏
