PancakeSwap propose to deploy its mainnet to Aptos Blockchain in Fourth Quarter of 2022.
PancakeSwap is decentralized exchange that is based on the BNB chain with a daily volume of $46 million. However, submit a proposal on 20 October to deploy to the Aptos chain. The developers of the decentralized exchange want this because they want to try a new chain that is innovative and technical capabilities. Meanwhile Aptos is a new chain founded by former Meta employees Mo Shaikh, Avery Ching.
Aptos is latest Layer-1 blockchain that launch its mainnet few days ago, the mainnet with 16 TPS at the time of writing, with capabilities of processing over 130,000 transaction per second (TPS). Before launch its mainnet, Aptos Labs raised fund worth $150 million in July for developing its ecosystem and grow the community to web3 standard.
Additionally, Aptos is getting traction with its low transaction cost, fast speeds in transaction and have a vibrant developer ecosystem that has work with multiple crypto products.
However, if the community approve the proposal PancakeSwap will establish it own leading DEX on Aptos with deploying four main features of farms, pools, and swaps by Q4 2022 said by the developers.
The developers stated further in the proposal that “they had develop strong relationship with Aptos team, and its ecosystem
is suitablee for PancakeSwap. The deploy will allow PancakeSwap natively token $CAKE available on the chain which will be the first time $CAKE, to appear on other chains.
Well, the vote will tells if this is going to work or not, but 70% sure it going to be a win-win for Aptos and PancakeSwap if the deployment works.
A vote for the proposal commence on the platform yesterday and it going to close 23 October
