A while ago I thought about reading "Rich Dad, Poor Dad". I heard someone mention it on a podcast or something and felt nostalgic about reading it over 20 years ago.

I was about to order the English version, but then I got an email from Amazon that a Japanese Kindle version had recently come out, so I ordered the Japanese version and have been listening to it while I walk and do housework.
The Japanese edition was published in 2000, at the end of the IT bubble (the original was published in 1997). I was a young university student studying compute science dreaming to be rich ๐ค I earned good pocket money, but I still didn't really understand what work was or what money was. After working as a company employee, earning money on my own, living in foreign countries, and starting my own business, I found something new in reading this book.
Also, I think it's well worth reading the book especially in the post-Bitcoin world, at least for me. My way of thinking about money and taxes changed a lot after I encountered Bitcoin, and there are quite a few parts that fit with libertarianism.
I've just read 80% of the book and am reading the chapter "Ten Steps to Getting Started". I'm trying to take time to do each step properly, and yesterday before I went to bed I wrote down what I didn't want to do and what I did want to do. Yes, I learn a lot not only investment techniques, but also in mental teachings toward money.
It's interesting to re-read a book that is a classic, after 20 years.
Why don't you all read "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" now, after Bitcoin!
