Recently I have been looking at the various videos online, primarily YouTube to get some ideas and better improve my blockchain future. I have stopped watching

Back to the topic. What have I been doing to improve my skills in crypto or at least gain a broader knowledge of the inner workings of how I can use or utilise Hive as a currency. I stumbled onto this channel on Youtube "Coin Bureau". This was about 3 weeks ago. I have watched only about 4 videos in that span as I have been watching anything I can find about bitcoin. What a rabbit hole. So many conspiracies on who Satoshi Nakamoto with no solid lead on their identity. Or to be precise too many leads on a lot of people that it gets muddled up.
The dude knew how to hide themselves. I give them that. Maybe one day they will appear as an algorithm hidden in the code that we frankly are unaware exists.
Recently. Last night I watched one of Coin Bureau's videos and it was about Yearn Finance. A currency more expensive than bitcoin. Can you believe that? This rang out in my head because how can that be?

It intrigued me from the picture on the video header. Token worth MORE than Bitcoin!! it says. I delve in and find out its yearn finance. A quick Ecosia search and I find the webpage. I trawl around the website and have this itch of wanting to be part of it. FOMO!! It's a bug and I have it now that I have watched the video. Man these video producers are all marketing gurus on me because its hooked me line and sinker. I bite like the dumb fish I am.
I start wondering if I should buy in with my fiat. Don't get me to explain what fiat is because I am a noob here. Use Ecosia and so some reading. I will assume you know what it means. I look around and see that it allows me to use MetaMask. Luckily one game has already got me to install it to play. I look at my balance. Damn! Nil, zilch, nada, zero. I start looking at my bank app, my bitcoin wallet and anything and everything under the sun. Like a tight fishes arse I aint opening up my accounts.
Then I remember I have some Hive. I start wondering how I can get a small amount into one token that is part of the 'earn' page on yearn finance. DAI. Hmmm sounds like a good token. Like a samurai like name I focus on it and wonder how I can get some. I first wonder if I should just deposit fiat again. No chance I dont want to spend any of it since I have bills to pay and more importantly.
MY BEER SUPPLY IS RUNNING OUT!!
No chance on parting without beer this close to Christmas. So Hive it is. I scramble for any information I can with how I can withdraw some Hive. Now there are not a lot of information available to me and Ecosia searches just lead me to bees. I am not here to make honeycombs! Finally it hit me. How did I deposit into Hive. That's right 
Looking back at yearn finance I a left with no option of Ether and like I said I want DAI. Not sure why but its my choice. So my next challenge is to see how I can get some. I am not sure what DAI is other than the name. I decide I should to to UniSwap. I like unicorns what can I say. Not. Fuck insufficient liquidity. More Ecosia searches and lots of reading. Nothing. I am shit out of luck. Unable to move forward. It's now 1 AM. I am tired and I still have work tomorrow. I pause my efforts.
Maybe tomorrow. Maybe another day. No rush.
If your reading this it means I am yet to fully participate into yearn finance but at least I have learnt some valuable lessons.
First, Hive is now a currency I can say will allow me to spend on what I think will be useful if I put effort into it. I know I have had posts before that said it could help me buy bread if need be. I just didn't know how I was going to do that. Now I know.
Second, I have learnt there are platforms that could broaden my utility of Hive if I want to participate.
Third, you have read this far. I must be onto something because if you are here technically I am onto something big.
With that I will retire this post as my hand is hurting from typing and my friend on Discord is wondering why I am frantically typing instead of paying attention to their story about a dog and his bone.
