Here is a sad and worrying recount of how financial institutions are stalking us and meddling with our fiat finances.
They treat us as if money and paychecks do not rightfully belong to their holder.
Dr. Malika Mitchell-Stewart, just out of residency and in her first full-time employment as a physician at Valley Oaks Medical Group, happily went to a Chase bank office in the Houston region to open an account and deposit her first earned check.
According to a lawsuit filed on Wednesday February 2, 2022 in US District Court, when Mitchell-Stewart tried to deposit the $16,780.16 check to the bank, the teller began asking "odd questions" regarding its legitimacy and Mitchell's employment.
Based to the complaint she filed, Dr. Mitchell-Stewart certainly did not expect to be accused of fraud and denied the ability to open a bank account at one of the world's most prestigious retail banks when she attempted to open a bank account with Chase and proudly deposit her first check as a new physician.
A Chase spokeswoman said that the financial institution take this incident extremely seriously and is examining the situation. They've reached out to Dr. Mitchell-Stewart to learn more about what happened and to express their regret for her bad experience.

All this happens because of the government's outreaching arm that stretches far away into the pockets of hard working citizens that earn their salaries honestly.
So next time you go to a bank, be prepared to be interviewed, asked to wait, interrogated and finally make you fill out Know Your Client (KYC) forms so they can track how much you earn, spend and based on that, tax you as well.
Or you can take the plunge and explore the world of decentralized digital currencies that have no territorial jurisdictions and no dependency on any big brother organization at all. Decentralized digital currencies really belong to you and will stay with you without anyone sniffing in your pockets, as long as you know how to take full responsibility and custody of your own digital wallet.
