My first Power Up Day Participation
Wow I did it!
When I first got to know about #HivePowerUpDay I was far from having enough Hive to power up enough to get the badge. The last few months I was either busy or forgot about it. Last month I was not online for the whole day, so I couldn't do it, the month before I was writing my bar exams (the last exams of my legal education).
But finally I could do it - and it was really big!
I powered up 51 Hive - just to be sure to get over the 50 Hive threshold.
This made my account power rise from less than 220 to more than 270 HP. An increase of over 20% HivePower in a day. Around 23% to be more precise. That is quite big for me.
What a journey it was so far. I started end of September, beginning of October on the Hive Blockchain - that is just around four months ago - and didn't really think that I would be still here right now. There are so many interesting things to do regarding blockchains and crypto. And also generally speaking in life.
But Hive is here to stay. In general and for me.
January was quite a busy month - and also the first month I manage to get a monthly busy bee! I did manage to get the weekly bees a few time - also before January, but in November and December always missed at least one day, when I was not posting anything.
And yes, that feels really great!
It also helped to grow my account by a lot. Most of my post are probably regarding Splinterlands, but I also post regularly on Rising Star and movies and series/TV-shows. I do write about traveling, photography and participate in challenges. I did also write about education and my studies. There was quite a range of different topics in the last 31 days.

In that post she is giving a great overview on some challenges and all that lovely prizes! It would be amazing to win anything in that competition. Maybe I should consider to power up some more Hive - but than it would be more difficult the next month ;-)

I should be able to qualify for this one as well - at least this month. My Reputation is still only at 60 right now, but it is growing as well; so I most likely I won't be eligible next month.
- There are probably more challenges and things going on around #HivePowerUpDay , but those are the ones I found. There is also the Spanish Community Contest which is great for all the Spanish Speaking Hiveans. Haven't seen any similar action in other languages, e.g. the
German, Italian or French speaking community. But feel free to leave a comment ;-)

My strategy for the coming weeks
I want to participate in the #HivePowerUpMonth this month.
Since I am not sure, whether I can power up one Hive a day, I am going for the first option and will try to post a post a day with 100% HP as rewards. I want to increase my HP anyways so I think this sounds like a good way to go.
This post will make the first step - although day one of February is covered with my 51 Hive Power Up. Still I am going for 100% in Hive Power as a reward.
This will also help me to get my next monthly Busy Bee (=monthly author). Would be nice to get that counter going. There isn't an annual author so far. And I doubt that I can manage to write a good post every day of the year. But maybe this could work out. Usually it doesn't since I jinxed it, but we will see.
Deutsche Zusammenfassung
Heute habe ich zum ersten Mal an einem #HivePowerUpDay teilgenommen! Und es war für mich ein richtig großes Power Up in Höhe von 51 Hive.
Es gibt einige - oben verlinkte - Wettbewerbe, die im Rahmen des Hive Power Up Days stattfinden. Auch von
Zudem hat er in seinem Post sehr ausführlich auf Deutsch ausgeführt wie der Power Up Tag abläuft und wie es funktioniert Hive upzupowern. Ist definitiv zu empfehlen!
Wäre cool, wenn ich irgendwo etwas gewinnen würde. Zumindest aber ist es ein Auftakt für den Februar und ich versuche möglichst jeden Tag einen guten Post zu verfassen um einerseits einen weiteren Monat die Biene zu bekommen - habe im Januar das erste Mal jeden Tag etwas gepostet. Und zum anderen natürlich auch viele Upvotes zu kassieren, die meine HivePower stärken.
