In this same book, a point says "eat it all and lose it all". It is a diary filled with insight into prosperity, take your time to read through.
Being financially dependent is a great blessing, and how we manage our financial life is very important to avoid living in penury all the days of our life.
The financial aspect of our lives needs adequate attention and diligent monitoring to lay down a good financial foundation even for the generations yet unborn.
Financial prosperity takes discipline and sacrifice because a man who can't sacrifice his petty wants for a greater future has lost track of financial success and as we all know there is a great difference between "want and need". It is so saddening that many people did not know the difference between these two words.
Need as defined by economists are the things we needed to survive, needs are based on physiological, personal or socio-economic requirements necessary for you to function or live, for example, food while want on the other hand is defined as a DESIRE for or WISH for, it is something that unnecessary but desired for just to boost the ego and make people see who the boss is. Taking note of the differences between these two words only then can such an individual live a fulfilled financially stable life.
Having the right mindset about what you need and what you want is a great step toward financial prosperity and this will help an individual to secure a better financial future for his or herself. As earlier mentioned that "eat it all and you lose it all" many people believe since they work for their money they can spend it anyhow they so wish not knowing that lavish spending is an open door to poverty, being considerate about how you spend isn't stinginess, it is called preparing for a better future.
Financial prosperity should be everyone's priority, why will you spend so much money on jewelry that can be stolen or lost at any time? Why will you spend so much on the party that people will forget after leaving the scene? Why will you spend so much on cloth that will get torn if mishandled? Why then don't you invest and save up for the day of rain, not rain but for the day you will be in dire need of financial assistance and only your investment or savings will be there to help you.
There are steps to financial prosperity and if these steps are diligently followed, poverty-free life is assured
Firstly
Contentment:- if an individual is contented with what so ever he or she has, savings come easily and he or she will be able to plan a better future financially.
Secondly
Discipline:- this is an important step in our financial life, this helps to control our spending habits and concentrate on building a financially stress-free life.
Thirdly
Sacrifice:- sacrificing your wants for the betterment of your future is nothing less than acquiring wealth in a steady process, it is a buildup for a greater future.
Fourthly
Diligence:- to attain the level of financial prosperity, you have to be diligent in the work you are doing, irrespective of your profession. This can also be regarded as hard work.
Fifthly
Patience:- building up a brighter future takes time only the patient can attain this at the end of the day.
Sixthly
Good company:- walking with positive-minded people who know the importance of investment and know what being financially dependent looks like, this will also help in sharpening your sense of thinking about life and it will help to correct your ways.
When these steps are followed to the core financial prosperity is sure because you would have laid down a good foundation and also secure the future of your unborn generations then all the luxury you've always wanted will come in handy.
