How do I have an X account and then have no use of it? my X account has been laying as a recessive app on my Phone, a Recessive app in the sense that it is just in the shadows. I have both Dominant Apps and Recessive Apps. Well, you could guess my Dominant App, “My Whatsapp” I had all my activities on WhatsApp, the only thing that would take me to X was to check for what was trending and then I breeze out.

When I joined the Hive Platform, I thought oh well I just need to write and it has nothing connected to the web2 world, all they speak about is web3 and decentralization so there was no connection, well so I thought. I was surprised when my friend said oh you could do some Hive promotion on X, I didn’t understand the X interface so I was just like okay, started, and then few days later I opted out as I found the app boring and most of my friends weren’t on it.
A few weeks later, another Hivean decided to tell me about promoting Hive on my X page and I was like okay there is no harm in trying, at that point, I had just 33 followers. I was just posting a few of Hive related stuff and I wasn’t so into it as I found it boring. Days later I decided to go through the app and look around it, then I found some hiveans who were so into the app, that I just like their post and then ran away because I didn’t want to be noticed. A social media introvert that’s what I am, I have social media accounts but I am never active on any.
I saw some growth from just dropping likes, I got my first follow from a verified account, I screamed and I decided on dropping more likes and then I kept on having followers until I moved from 30 followers to 66 followers.
When the Zealy Marketing Campaign kicked off I was on 66followers. The Zealy Marketing Campaign sponsored by the Inleo platform introduced me to a thing called “X space” I had no idea what that was as I was just a newbie on the X platform.
The First time we were meant to join the space I found it super interesting and I got to learn new things such as cryptocurrency, web3, web3 games, Decentralized and Centralized world, and many more. It gave me a broad overview of certain things I didn’t even know about the Hive blockchain and cryptocurrency.
When it comes to Engagement, the Zealy Marketing Campaign, made me engage so well with people who weren’t on the Hive blockchain, before now I was only limited to interacting with Hiveans on X but then I was brought out of my shell. I started commenting on people’s work and then they replied and I even had lots of followers. Not so much as one would be expecting but in less than a month due to the Zealy engagement I got moved from having 66 followers on X to having 101 followers on X. Then to 150 followers, Well at this point I am on 180 followers. So I moved from 33 followers to 180 organic followers in less than 2 months. Now I salute the Inleo team.
If you have met me you would know for sure that I do not like talking, I also do not like phone calls at all, anything that would make me talk to a new person please count me out as I am very shy, Zealy Campaign made me join an X space and became a Speaker, it took me a while to talk but I did it. Honestly, I am super happy about my improvement on X, promoting the Hive Blockchain, it makes me feel like I am adding value to the ecosystem and making a sincere connection with people.
