I categorize my income sources into three levels:
- Primary - this is considered as active income where time is heavily committed. As for me this is the salary I earn from my regular job.
- Secondary - side hustles I do on top of regular employment, like holding a sale or writing/creating online content. This are types of income sources that only takes a few hours of the week.
- Tertiary - these are passive income sources that consumes very little to no time at all, like dividends paid out by a stock.
Same with many individuals, my primary source of income is from having a job. However as I grow older, and in order to achieve financial independence, I plan to trade less time for money. I want to make working or running a business optional. Wherein my main source of income would come mostly from assets which are passively managed.
This will be the focus of today's article. Where I plan to share with you in which means I plan to generate passive income from the hive network and leofinance. My goal is to have at least 4 sources of passive income from this cryptospace within a year.
Before we start I would just like to name a few other sources of passive income outside the hive blockchain which are also part of my investment journey. These ones will have their own article in the future.

Delegating hive power rewards me without even lifting a finger. The ones below are on top of my list and I plan to delegate HP as soon as I'm able to raise up my points. Please note that there are many more projects and communities that you can delegate hive power to and below are just my personal choices. I plan to delegate to more projects and communities in the future as show of support to the entire hive network.

Simply owning leo tokens would also generate me passive income. The plan here is to buy, hold and stake leo tokens to provide liquidity. Providing to liquidity pools same with many exchanges generates rewards.
