My Leofinance Story

You know what they say, the journey of a Thousand miles starts with the first step. My first step was largely motivated by Hive account@trumpman's belief in the future of the platform and so far so good, he was right.

At the time, we were still living on the Steem side of town and going by the name Steemleo. Back then, Hive account@trumpman mostly wrote about animal dicks and some finance stuff. He often raved about Leo and encouraged me to buy some, which I eventually did, a bit later but I eventually did.

At the time, I wasn't also big on writing finance-related articles, because I generally just wrote about my life and stuff like that. My Leo plug often encouraged me to write about finance and he would jerk me whenever he could, but like I said, finance wasn't my niche.

Another issue I had with Leofiancne and other Hive-engine front-ends was my laziness to get a grip of how the Dex worked. I didn't even know how I was going to get the tokens, stake them or use them.

Moving to Hive

During the transition to Hive, Hive account@leofinance was among the top proponents of the movement. The leaders of the front-end championed the cause with aplomb and that got my attention.

When Splinterlands came into my life in February of this year, I started using Hive-engine a bit more. This new found understanding of the advanced technology, enabled me become more active on Leo.

My first move was to buy as much leo as I could. I think I invested like 400 Hive or so on Leo, although back then, the token was only a fraction of Hive. Fast forward to today, and my only regret is that I didn't invest more in the project.

My New Niche

Writing on this front-end later turned into my daily muse. I scoured my mind and the internet, trying to get topics and angles that would fit into the mould around here.

Due to this interest, I developed an interest in writing about cryptocurrencies and blockchain projects. Through my leo-themed glasses, I saw an opportunity to build a brand through copywriting and thanks to people like Hive account@forexbrokr, I have a lot of belief in my ability to grow in this field.
