The bull market does seem to be incoming... ICOs and IEOs are starting to be more frequent, which is always a bit of an indicator. CoinList has always been a good platform for me, but everyone will have different experiences here... but I do wonder how much of that has stemmed from people trying to game the system. It was quite terrible at some point with lots of account farmers hogging the sales, but last batch over the last years with the Karma and pre-funding requirements making for a better experience for the single account retail investor.

bitCrunch is the latest of in the wave of analytics and forensics tokens... with ARKM being the last one that launched with quite a bit of hype and controversy not that long ago, and with Nansen and Chainanalysis being the centralised companies offering similar services. I guess that there should be decentralised options available, and the controversy surrounding the Arkham launch sort of highlights the need for more privacy services and protocols to be built into crypto and blockchain systems.

But, since those don't exist... we have the ability for the double edged swords of blockchain analytics to exist... definitely a multi purpose infrastructure tool with ethical advantages and disadvantages.

The bitsCrunch highlights are heavy on ticking all the right decentralised boxes... but as I'm not a user of existing analytic tools, I'm not really in a position to comment intelligently on any of it... However, I do see the need for this sort of infrastructure... even if it isn't for governmental and illicit tracking. And infrastructure is what I'm really quite keen on taking long-term punts upon!

So, straight to the sale logistics... very similar to the last couple, with pre-funding being the main tool for weeding out multiple account farmers. Much like more recent sales, we are restricted to the two major stablecoins for purchasing... there used to be a time when BTC, ETH and a few other crypto coins/tokens were acceptable for purchase... but in the depths of the bear market, I guess that projects wanted the surety of stablecoins instead of the potentially declining value of the non-pegged cryptocurrencies.

One new twist for this crowdsale is the additional extra allocation for those who purchase more than 350 USD in the crowdsale. This does end up being an additional 20-25 USD at the crowdsale price... I'm considering it, to have a bit of extra unloading ability at token listing... It is my major imperative to recover the invested capital cost in all of these ICO/IEO rounds... take small profit, and then leave the rest as a moonbag.

Sigh... some of these infographics start to get more and more difficult to parse... they do look prettier, but sort of more confusing to my mind!

Honestly, I prefer something more akin to this... where it clearer who the network participants are and what roles the play in the token economy. At first glance, it seems very similar to the Arkham (ARKM) token economy... with information requesters and fulfillers, and customer query being the major driver for price discovery.

The allocation of tokens into the community, team, and investors... the Coinlist sale is a decent 6 percent of the total allocation, but the backers are a larger 23 percent... however...

... the more important release schedule has the Coinlist sale being vested before the backers and at a faster rate to the community incentives. However, the Treasury does make up the bulk of early liquidity... hopefully the DAO doesn't use that to dump on us! But I doubt that that is likely... but in these crypto projects, you never know!

An impressive list of backers with quite a few of the better known and better trusted names appearing here... and a good smattering of node operators to help launch the network. What really caught my eye though was the client and partner list including a couple of the big four consultancy groups... in the form of EY and PWC! That is some seriously traditional established player stuff there!

A fairly long sighted roadmap... with testnet already launched, and mainnet coming soon in 2024. Full decentralisation is planned for 2026 with the token being completely vested and distributed.

So, I will definitely be aiming to take part in this crowdsale... I'm not keen on analytics and tracking, but it is always going to be part of the essential infrastructure for a properly machine-readable and digital native infrastructure... but this will eventually need to exist alongside proper individual and personal privacy tools and protocols.
