Last few months (or maybe weeks, time is moving strange these days) one of the bigger things on crypto twitter was NFT's and CryptoArt. Or maybe it was just not on hive till now so i just did not notice it. I hoped on board when NFTShowroom started but as i mostly do photography, and all this is new for me, i did not really knew how it works, what is crypto digital art (not that i know now). So some month ago i minted 2 gifs that i thought could be interesting and after that did nothing. Few days ago i started playing with my smoke photos because of totally unrelated subject, and i like the looks of it. And the Smoke and Mirrors series was born.
And yesterday i sold my first piece on NFTShowroom.
As someone who is harsh self critic, and who sucks in charging literally everything that i ever did i have shit ton of questions to answer to myself. What to sell, why selling, what should be the price, is it to much, is it to little and by that i feel like i don't appreciate myself and my work, should it be private or full commercial, how many editions...
And i don't have answers to this questions, but i know it is a lot of fun (and a bit frustrating :) ) photographing smoke and creating something more from it. And also there is something in knowing that it would be really hard to recreate the same pattern of smoke, so it is kinda unique.
So you will see more of the Smoke and Mirrors series. will you enjoy in it? I have no idea. I know i will.
Check out NFTShowroom and Lensy to enjoy some art.
