Amazingly, for the second month in a row, this exact day coincides with yet another special real life event — PI DAY. If you still remember, last month's PPUD coincided with Valentines Day. Was this on purpose when picking the arbitrary 14th of every month? 🤔🤣 Who knows? I'll attribute it to pure coincidence. 😎

What is this Power Up Day? It is a day where Pizza Holders and even new users are encouraged/incentivized to stake their $PIZZA together.

Wow! What a week! It first started with Silvergate aka THE Crypto Bank, and then spread to Silicon Valley Bank and Signature Bank. 3 reputable mid sized banks in the US blew up in smoke in just a week, one after another. The cascading effects of this bank run has sent global markets into a tailspin.

It looked like it was all over at this point. Multiple cascading bank runs would lead to contagion and even more bank runs on the entire banking system. Not only that, the 3 friendliest crypto banks were now out of the game leaving the ability to move fiat in and out of the system crippled. 📉🔥

But the market does what the market does. A quick reaction by the US government announcing their "NOT A BAILOUT" of said banks restored confidence in the system overnight. Where everything above the FDIC $250k insured deposits seemed to be going up in smoke, everything was now safe and guaranteed by Uncle Same himself.

Showing how unpredictable everything is, BTC, and by extension almost every cryptocurrency, suddenly went on a massive rebound in the past 24 hours, HIVE included. In fact, at $26k, BTC has now hit a 9 month high! 😱📈🚀

Now clearly, I wouldn't just spend such an amount on the PIZZA token just for the fun of it. PIZZA as a token also has significant value and growth potential.

The price of PIZZA has once again stayed amazingly constant these past few months. Even with all the market turbulence around us, this token has such strong support that it's price is pretty much unaffected by any outside forces! 🤑🥳📈

Granted we've seen a slight dip in terms of HIVE pricing for PIZZA, but this is however offset by the general increase in the price of HIVE overall now.

Personally, I'm even somewhat happy that I've been "given another chance" to accumulate more when the prices are this low! 🤑🤑🤑

I can see the potential in PIZZA (and also in HIVE) and am bullish on its future prospects. As they say, diamond hands and HODL 💎🙌🏻, I intend to just hold onto my tokens and since I've no intention of cashing out anytime soon, what better way than to participate in PPUD and locking it all in.

Pizza staking offers a 12% APR interest paid out daily which is automatically staked and compounded. The table above shows you an example of how much it'll grow within a year. It'll actually adds up to 12.74% APR this way.
