VeChain Mugshot App
Isn’t a nice Espresso something great after lunch while you are having a little break from work? I think so. And doesn’t it get even better if you can earn a bit of crypto with it? Guys, I have something for you: The Mugshot DApp! This DApp is running on the VeChain blockchain and you can earn B3TR Token just by doing a proof of picture that you are drinking your coffee out of a reusable cup. This is an initiative by VeChain to drive sustainability. It was started earlier this year.
What you need
Download the VeWorld Wallet App and create a VeChain wallet. Visit the Mugshot DApp site from the wallet browser, take the coffee mug picture and you should receive the Token. If you are inside a registered Cafe it gives your 3 B3TR, orherwise 1 B3TR.
What else to know
The Token and the Mugshot DApp are currently still running on a Testnet and not the official VeChain blockchain so you only see the Token if you switch the VeWorld wallet to Testnet. Plan is to migrate the Testnet and with it all the earned Token into the mainnet end of June. Then they will be also listed on exchanges and will get a price tag. They are not tradeable yet. You can do a lot more there on this Testnet. There is more DApps to use like Green Ambassador or Greencart. And there is the VeBetterDAO DApp where you can swap your B3TR Token into the VOT3 governance Token and vote for your favorite DApps. You get more B3TR Token for this weekly voting as well.
My results so far
I am using the Mugshot DApp and others since February bow and already accumulated more than 700 B3TR Token which I mainly swapped into VOT3 Token to get voting rewards every week via the VeBetterDAO.
Try it out, guys. In my view it’s a promising project and the Token will have some value once they get listed on exchanges this summer.
