Freedom of Money
Yesterday marked the launch of a book that everyone interested in the history and evolution of cryptocurrencies should have on their radar: “Freedom of Money”, the autobiography of Changpeng Zhao.
I picked it up on Kindle for just $10, the paperback is nearly double once you factor in delivery costs. And interestingly, CZ mentioned that all proceeds will be donated to charity. Then again, being a billionaire certainly makes that easier.
Today I just want to share a quick first impression. I’ve only read about 30–40 pages so far, but right at the beginning in the testimonials you get a sense of how strong his comeback is after spending four months in prison and being pardoned by Donald Trump last year.
There are some seriously big names backing the book. It opens with praise from legendary hedge fund manager Ray Dalio, followed by Larry Fink, CEO of BlackRock, and even His Majesty Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, the King of Bhutan. Pretty impressive, in my view.
Think what you want about CZ, but it’s hard to ignore that his core topics cryptocurrencies and especially Bitcoin are here to stay.
I’ll keep you posted if I come across anything particularly interesting. Maybe even a mention of listing HIVE on Binance after the Steem fork? We’ll see. Anyone of you reading this too?
