BTC Prague 19-21/6
What Michael Saylor delivered last week at the biggest Bitcoin Convention in Europe was a big thing. Thousands of people saw him speak live and certainly more have seen it remotely. 8-10k visitors ar BTC Prague and many of those came for him.
The prophecy
Hal Finney predicted in early 2009, only days after Genesis block, that Bitcoin could grow to 10M a coin. A big prophecy. Now Saylor wants to predict an even bigger milestone. He wants to place his oen prophecy. He says Bitcoin can climb to higher prices per coin by 2046. His prophecy is 21M within the next 21 years. Let that sink in. 21 million USD for one Bitcoin.
The numbers
Saylor has impressive and good numbers to underline that prediction. To male things short: In the end it comes down to diminishing annual average returns between currently 50% and 21% in 21 years time. Bitcoin would then still outperform the stock market he says, since Bitcoin has less risk than companies.
The road to 21M
Of course Bitcoin reaching 21M is nothing certain. Of course this won‘t happen in a straight line upwards. Of course the timing is rather an estimation and nothing „on point“. BUT what Saylor did here was to show a road that maybe bumpy and not straight but it could lead to a place you most probably cannot reach any other way. No NVIDIA stock or Gold is able to achieve that: Financial independence for oneself, sound digital money and an excellent store of value for the world. imo.
