Definitely, there was a massive spotlight on the crypto scene especially on ethereum in the last seven days as ethereum merge took place. There was lot of changes expected and at the same time I sat with question moving about in my head, whaays actually going to take place after the upgrade from PoW to PoS. Well the bear market is taking a big crush in crypto market and signaling more opportunities to have a dose of increasing ones crypto portfolio. Anyway let's take a it away from ethereum and back to Cardano.
It should be clear that when there's a call for an upgrade, it signifies betterment right? Right.
When anyone starts at a point they always take it to the next level and continue being better. Well Cardano has that in sight and want it better for their community.
You know when the upgrade is completed which is presently 98% complete as I write.
The hardfork that Cardano would be going through in a couple hours precisely 21:45 UTC. This is not the first time that Cardano is having a hardfork, the last one was last year 2022 in which smart contracts were introduced into Cardano with Alonzo Hardfork.
Hardfork means changing codes in which a new blockchain is created.
The Vasil Upgrade is actually the biggest of the hardfork it has had. Basically, the Vasil hardfork would bring an upgrade Cardano network and Cardano smart contract language Plutus, increasing reading functionality, performance, scalaibility, introducing new feature and even lower transactional fee.
I believe that Cardano dApps would take a new turn after the upgrade as much is spoken about Vasil would leverage EUTXO.
An important aim that Vasil hardfork achieves is to make Cardano fully a decentralized network introducing Cardano Introduction Proposal - CIP 33, CIP 31, CIP 32, CIP 40 and CIP 42.
I think I'm loving Cardano more as I've been following up the upgrade that would end on the 27th of September starting today.
There's doubt that immediately the upgrade is live, much should be expected to take place immediately just as we've learnt from ethereum upgrade. There's a reason for the five days window that would take to execute every agenda.
