Who would have imagined that one day you'd simply have fun playing game and be able to earn without the feeling of being lazy or even jobless. Gone are the days when we were kids and all we want to do is sit in front of the screen and just spend the whole day having fun for the whole day. Today thanks to the evolution that just keep happening and we who are willing to take charge of our lives, keep on finding ways to do so.
How our world has really evolved totally from how we know it to be because certainly change must always have its place and always lead the pace while we only get aligned so that at the end of the day, we aren't found wanting.
I remember years ago when I played so many games without earning nothing and even today, I still find myself out of boredom playing some random game I wouldn't deny. Although while I was making broader findings before writing this now, I found myself playing splinterlands again and just discovered I'm in the "Bronze league III." Clearly from my ranking, you'd only get to find out that I'm not a pro yet.
Play-to-earn games are the main deal now especially with web3 technology having a rapid effect in the world and changing the course from web2 to web3 which gives power to the users while employing blockchain technology.
What's Splinterlands?
Splinterlands is simply an online collectible card battling game that uses blockchain technology in which you earn cryptocurrency. Splinterlands is built on Hive blockchain. Playing the game requires knowing the special abilities of each card that is used just like in real a battlefield, you don't just go up against your opponent as you need to strategize on the best way to attack and defend to end up winning each battle so that at the end, the war is won.

The Game Levels Of Splinterlands
Having read about the number of daily active users which is absolutely mind-blowing, shows the great interest that splinterlands has on anyone. The fact remains that it isn't as easy as it sounds although with much interest anyone could learn as days go by.
The interesting part about splinterlands is that even if you are not interested in playing the game instead of just buying a card and letting it just collect dust, you can rent it out to players and earn. The earning with splinterlands cards are just numerous.
Diving into the game, after signing up on here preferably downloading on google play store for firsthand experience.
The League
One begins battle which last 2-3 minutes.
There are six (6) leagues in Splinterlands.
Starting out the battle means you'd begin in the Novice League as you fight battles till arriving in Champion League . I know you like the sound of that "Champion League."
Just like every tournament, there's a scheduled time in which the game must be completed. So starting with Novice league which should have a 24 hour and winning the Novice League within the given duration, you advance to the next league. As you advance further through each league, it gets tougher. Only the Novice league has one stage compared to the rest.
- Novice League
- Bronze League I => Bronze League II => Bronze League III
- Silver League => Silver League II => Silver League III
- Gold League I => Gold League II => Gold League III
- Diamond League I => Diamond League II => Diamond League III
- Champion League I => Champion League II => Champion League III
For each league completed, there's a reward which is given.
No player from a league can be matched to play with a player from a higher league because there card power in terms of collection power can't be compared.
In Bronze League which I consider as the first although not disregarding novice league, players have the 0.2% chance of winning a bronze chest containing legendary card and 0.5% chance of winning a gold foil.
In Silver League, players have the 0.8% chance of winning a silver chest containing legendary card and 2% chance of winning a gold foil and a 2 times boost for Dark Energy Crystals DEC contained in reward chest.
In Gold League, players have the 1.2% chance of winning a gold chest containing legendary card and 3% chance of winning a gold foil and 8 times boost for Dark Energy Crystals DEC contained in reward chest.
In Diamond League, players have the 1.6% chance of winning a diamond chest containing legendary card and 4% chance of winning a gold foil and 16 times boost for Dark Energy Crystals DEC contained in reward chest.
In Champion League, players have the 3.2% chance of winning a bronze chest containing legendary card and 8% chance of winning a gold foil and 48 times boost for Dark Energy Crystals DEC contained in reward chest.
Splinterlands Strategy
You challenge an opponent of the same league in the battlefield to give a fair chance of victory but being strategic secured victory.
The battle card element to know include : earth, water, fire, life, death, dragon and neutral mercenaries.
In battle, there's a selection of attackers that includes: melee attackers, magic attackers and range attackers.
Melee attackers are attackers that attack at close range, those opponents in first position.
Magic attackers are attackers that can attack any position on the battle as positions don't really matter. The opponents with lower lives are targets.
Range attackers are attackers that can attack from any position but the first position except when the close range ability is in effect.
When playing, it is best to make use of the three different attackers instead of relying on one or two although you still consider what elements the opponent is using.
This is not a fight strategy advise as there are more knowledgeable players than myself but I'm making my contribution.
