Defi Llama
A tool to compare different chains. When I find a new project but it's on a network I've never heard of I usually check the rankings on Defi Llama. Under the topic Chainlist you can find lots of networks with that Add to Metamask -button, this really saves you time and effort when all the network URLs and chain IDs are added automatically. RPC lists can also be found under the dropdown menu.
One other useful section is the Top Protocols in which you can check what protocol is the most popular in which chain and category. So if you know what you want to do but don't where, this might be a good place to drop by.
Dex Screener
For tracking asset prices in realtime. This is a must if you are jumping in to a project that has just been launched and the token cannot yet be found on other charts. With Dex Screener you can set price alerts and create watchlists and multicharts.
APR to APY Calculator
When showing how much interest you will earn on your deposit some protocols show the APR % while others give you the APY %. It all depends on whether you are compounding the gains or not.
So here's a simple calculator so you don't have to do the math. Options include annually, semi-annually, monthly, weekly and daily.
Impermanent Loss Calculator
This one helps you to calculate the possible impermanent loss when farming. It shows the future value of tokens if you were just holding them versus providing liquidity.
I use it to compare the possible impermanent loss to future gains of LPs and try to figure out if it's worth it.
Honeypot Detector
Simple and fast, just choose chain and enter the token address. When i'm thinking about getting involved with a new project I ran their token address through Honeypot Detector to see if gets flagged. Of course this doesn't guarantee anything and it's always best to do a thorough research by yourself. And also it might become a honeypot later on, but still, it's become a routine of mine.
Portal Bridge
I am using Portal Bridge mainly to send UST or LUNA from Terra to Fantom network. What Portal Bridge does is it locks the sent asset in a smart contract and mints a wrapped token on the target chain. These wrapped tokens you can freely swap to whatever assets you want.
I really like the way Portal Bridge is guiding the user through every step. It's like someone's holding your hand, which is quite rare in crypto space.
One other thing worth mentioning is that Portal Bridge allowed me to choose whether to use UST or LUNA to pay the gas fees.
Zapper
With Zapper you can take a look at the bigger picture of your holdings across multiple networks. Great tool to check upon chains that you don't use that often and maybe find that forgotten asset!
I hadn't been using Zapper for a while and just noticed that it's displaying some Dapps too, Defi Kingdoms in my case. Besides Metamask you can connect many other wallets like Ledger, XDEFI Wallet and Coinbase Wallet.
